I saw this restaurant had good reviews but I was not impressed at all. Everything was over cooked and bland. I ordered my food extra hot and it was even a little spicy. Even the potatoes and corn were not good.The overall atmosphere was run down and the waitress I had was as lifeless as the restaurant.
Compared to another place in the area, they had better prices. Clean environment. Awesome staff. Damn good food. The only minor thing that wasn't good, was the corn on the cob. Tasted frozen, not fresh. Kind of mushy. But I was there for that. I was there for the seafood. And that was on point. The sauce makes all the difference.
I am usually not vocal about my experience with restaurants but I had to share my view on this restaurant.I visited King Crab restaurant 5/25/23 around 7:30pmTo celebrate my granddaughter’s graduation.She wanted a seafood boil.My daughter in law as well as 9 other family members attended.The food was ok. The kids enjoyed the seafood boil.The first thing that upset me and my daughter in law was there are no substitutes with the seafood boil.The family feast for 53.99 you get 2 cluster crab or lobster and you pick 2 of either shrimp which we picked , or mussels ,clams crawfish or something else the the kids did not eat. We asked the waitress who was rude and not attentive could we substitute for two orders of shrimp or another crab leg or something. She said she would have to ask the manager.The manager says no substitutes, no exceptions.So we only received 2 clusters of crab and one order of shrimp which we were robbed of another seafood option. As a consumer with gas and food going up daily we felt this was not good customer service.We we’re paying for some we did receive. This was a treat my daughter in law wanted to do for her daughter. Also the waitress did not check to see if we needed refills on drinks and when she bought out food the she crossed over my plate and did not say excuse me.The last thing I want to say the policy for tipping for a table of 6 or more is 18% even if your service is lousyNO EXCEPTIONS.This will be my last time visiting King Crab and I will spread the word of your lousy customer service.Thank you.
I used to get delivery all the time through Grubhub but I think I may have to no longer do that with them. $8 for onion rings and this is all I got….. I’m disappointed. Their portions have gotten significantly smaller and their price has gone up. I understand shipping costs but a pound before should be a pound now.
King Crab at Willow Lawn is delicious. Their snow crab with juicy sauce was a choice I really liked. The corn with it was very good also, kinda sweet in flavor. I also tried the lunchtime all you can eat sushi they offer. Really good. (I didn't know you got six rolls per choice. ) I'm glad I came hungry :-) Every sushi choice I ended up pleased with.
Celebrated my Mom’s 91st Birthday. The food was delicious and the service provided by sherry was wonderful. She was attentive to us all and paid extra attention to our Mom. Thank you
Prices used to be better. Also, they make zero concessions. Even for the most trivial things. For example... They sell 6 or 12 wings. If you buy 12 you get a dollar off. Fine. If you ask for 6 with one flavor, they will bill you for 2 orders of 6. It may be nuanced, I find aggravating when management won't see their mistake.
Food was great as always! I did feel a little cheated on the quality of my sauce this time. But they get a past because the service and normally the food is great.
We got married o. 2\2222 and de ided to go there with about 30 people. They said they were short staffedbut would accommodate we almost left but decided to stay. I just want to say it was awesome the food was great, the server she was the best. I recommend King Crab anyday, all day.
Very nice place and staff. The Sauce didn't look or taste good and you only get 1 corn. The sauce was dark brown and not sure what exactly the flavor was. I'll stick to Boil Bay.
