Pretty solid! Highly recommend starting with the challah. The za'atar steak was cooked great, sides were tasty, and the milk pie dessert was dinnerent in a very, very good way. Would definitely come back!Service was also wonderful

What a cool concept! Went for lunch on a Saturday and thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the entire experience. So many interesting combinations on the menu it was very hard to choose. I understand dinner is next-level! Will be back.

Great flavors , perfect service

Overall we has an amazing experience at Jewfro. The ambiance was nice, great for a date night. All of our meals were prepared well, the portion size wasn't that great but that should be expected. If you're looking for something a little different I'd highly recommend.

It's a really cool restaurant and the clientele is quite diverse. The restaurant is a mix a marriage between African and Jewish culture, the Continent. And it's not culture she would expect to blend so well but they really do. They had fun and interesting drinks and really good food. To be honest I like the vegetables matter better than I like the proteins. My friend had the pili pili chicken and it was almost too hot for him to eat. It is not a cheap night out!

Interesting combination of flavors. Your average diner may find the portions lacking, however you’re not paying for the amount of food, you’re paying for high quality ingredients and the skill and craftsmanship it took to create these dishes. My partner and I had a delicious meal. Cocktails and mocktails were very creative. Will be coming back.

This may have been the best dining experience I've ever had in Richmond. The staff was friendly and joyful, the decor and atmosphere were spot on, and all the little details (like the lazy Susan height being tall enough to miss the plates) were taken care of.Then there's the food... WOW. The flavors pop and have multiple layers to them. Dishes I normally don't like were suddenly my favorite. This is a "must do" for Richmond, hands down. We will be coming back!______Followup... lunch is great too! ?

Yum yum yum! You won't be disappointed!Stayed up waaay too late last night drinking wine with friends, woke up with a DIRE need for fried chicken, so set out this morning to hit up Hot Chick (also yum!). While power walking down the street... LO! BEHOLD! JEWFRO!?!! I didn't know this was their new location!! A quick online menu check confirmed that they do indeed serve some form of fried chicken (?), so we immediately course corrected.Pumpkin pierogi, carrot salad, chicken schnitzel sandwich, and a bloody mary - all fabulously flavorful, comforting, and happy! Let me tell ya, I feel good as new post-brunch ?

Amazing food and a super cool atmosphere! The food was really unique and delicious. The staff was also really friendly. I got a delicious lamb shank that was really tender and juicy and the sides were also really tasty. The drinks were delicious. I hope to hit this place every time I am in town!

Delicious food. We did delivery but will be dining in there next time . The plantains were yummy and the pumpkin dumpling was outstanding. The sandwiches are huge and delicious . I would highly recommend.
