Plenty healthy entree choices including many vegetarian selections! Their fresh fruit cups and fresh fruit platter with their signature fruit dip is definitely a MUST for you to try. If you don’t have time to dine in, then this location has a separate “To-Go” entrance. You can go in browse a menu and place your order, and it is prepared fresh while you wait. This weekend we were back in the area, and definitely knew where and what we wanted for lunch- Jason’s Deli. We decided to dine-in and both my husband and I chose the large Plain Jane baked potato which is HUGE and most of all DELICIOUS! Then we each got a sandwich, which we ended up taking home for later. All food ingredients were fresh, and the restaurant dining area was very clean. The very kind gentleman who was cleaning and sanitizing the tables checked on us several times to see if everything was okay and to see if we needed anything. As always, superb job Jason’s Deli on Forest Hill.
Our experience today was one of extremely long wait (30 minutes)times for our food, wrong food brought to table and by the time my sandwich actually got to me it was cool, not hot. I ordered the Reubens sandwich and my wife ordered a salad and soup. People who came in 15 minutes after us got served before we did. My wife had to go up and get her plate and soup. She was supposed to receive the vegetarian chili but was given vegetable soup. Don't know what happened here because there was only one person in front of us and this should never have happened. Usually they provide an adequate service.
And the soft serve ice cream with liquid chocolate syrup was the best part of the lunch. It had been eliminated since Covid. I have eaten many meals here during Covid. This trip I tried something other than sandwiches which were always good. I tried the taco salad. The salad ingredients were standard for a taco salad and sat on a bed of loose blue corn chips which were flavorless. Really sad. The taco lacked flavor and the separate cup of salsa could not be more bland. Wendy's is better. When I return I will stay with the sandwiches.
This is my favorite Jason Deli. I love having launch or dinner at this place. But it's a little far from where I live.Also, the staffs are very professional and treat you with great respect. They always greet you with Hello and Welcome you to the Restaurant.Thank you very much for being professional and very nice to your customers.
Just what I’d expect, clean bright dining room, hot perfectly prepared meals, and friendly staff. No ice cream ( I’m sure for safety reasons) however they offer a free cookie as a substitute , what more could you ask.

pretty expensive. Not impressed with staff. Got our order wrong. We left without getting what we had ordered. Not going back. So disappointed. Used to be great place.
No staff wore mask including manager. Staff had here hands all over our plates when brought out to us. Staff not friendly. I like to be greeted at the register not a phase what do you want. Never again, over priced cold cuts. you needdo
Ordering delivery from Jason's deli was 10 times better than ordering prom panera...1. They actually delivered the food, unlike panera2. The food was soooo goooood!!3. The meat on my sandwich and the size of the soup cup was so much more/bigger than panera4. They updated me with texts where my food was and how much longer it would be.5. And it was delivered sooner than the time posted.THANK YOU! SO YUMMY! I will definitely be ordering from Jason's deli from now on.
