The food is good… Now ask me if they can get your delivery order straight??? Heck no…every time, I ask for extra gravy with my jerk chicken and they either don’t give extra or leave it off all together! I just realized that they only gave me DRY WHITE MEAT…read the check…it clearly says DARK MEAT! Please Jamaica Taste…get it right because I’d hate to stop ordering because of that simple reason…it spoils the meal experience! I like supporting black businesses but…I want what I ask for when paying my money. If you want to give me what you want me to have, let me know and I’ll kindly join you for lunch ‘on you’ (Jamaica Taste) any day!
Very disappointed with my order. I ordered a large oxtail meal and received a plate half way filled with rice, a portion of cabbage and 6 oxtails. I paid $20 for this meal and would have expected a little more meat. I understand we are in a recession but I read through a good amount of reviews and decided on this place. I gave this establishment 2 stars because the taste was decent and it came lukewarm.
The jerk chicken is a must have!! Staff is amazing and friendly. Food was ready quickly and I was able to get in and out within minutes.
Got the jamaican jerk chicken Door dashed to my house. Great portions! Cabbage was on point! Jerk chicken had the perfect amount of spice for me! Still very warm! Will definitely return! ??? satisfied!
The best jamaican spot in Richmond hands down. The portion size I'd great, the taste is amazing, and the price is right! I highly recommend, and will be a regular (added them to my phone contacts, yes it's that serious). Also, the coco bread gets sold out quick so you know it's good!
It is decent there are better Jamaican places in Richmond but this one is not bad.

Seriously. This is the best meal I’ve had in two years. I just had to call and tell them this, too. I had to jerk chicken, rice and beans, coco bread, and plantains. I could not have been happier.
Top 3 in Richmond!!!! I have been going here at work for the past few weeks and let me tell you! They are very consistent with the taste and flavor of the food. Some places have “off days” when it comes to flavor, but not them. I would recommend it to everyone. Even when I’m off work I drive all the way from northside to get their food. Try it
Nasty as he'll smh..I had the curry chicken..and the taste was awful..no kick to it or nothing..I can cook curry better than them..and I'm not Jamaican lol.
