Food is severely overpriced. And I don't mind paying a pretty penny for quality food. But 23 dollars for 3 tiny pieces of fish and rice with a small scoop of cabbage. It's kinda ridiculous. The fish was completely over fried and dry the rice was flavorless and there was barely any cabbage. The beef patties and coco bread were so dry we threw them away. Felt like they had been sitting out all day. The plantains had a funny taste and texture. Seems like after 5pm they run out of most foods everything we went to order they were out of. I just think for the price the food quality needs to be spot on. And it wasn't.

The staff greeted me as soon as I entered the restaurant. Once I looked at the menu and made my decision, my order was taken quickly. I had my food and was out the door in less than 10 minutes!I ordered the jerked chicken, my sides were rice & beans and cabbage.The chicken was moist and very flavorful, seasoned just right. Spicy but not too spicy! The Rice and beans and cabbage were great too I would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.
Rude staff, long food wait. Out of half of the items in the menu. Don't see this restaurant lasting very long. Probably will be out of business at some point
Food is great and decently portioned. The price I paid was quite high however I don't hold them accountable for that due to inflation.
First time visiting this location. Stumbled across it leaving Short Pump. The jerk chicken was tender and had a good flavor. I enjoyed the plantains and sides as well.I am so tired of these franchises. Now, I have some place go to get a good meal.Update, tried the curry chicken. Although the taste was good, I had to chew carefully because of all of the little bones of chicken. When I eat, I just want to eat and not have to pick around my food. Also, I did not like the fatty skin on the chicken; the texture turned me off. Although curry chicken is one of my favorite dishes, I will definitely not be getting that dish again.

I will no longer give this restaurant my business. I tried them in August of 2021, the food was not ready after ordering an hour in advance. I said I'll give them another try. Today I tried it again and it was another fail. I ordered my food and she said it would be ready in 30 minutes. I get there 40 minutes later and the food was still not ready! A few more minutes went by and the hostess told me she gave my food away! I had to wait a whole other hour!!!! She did not want to give me a refund or offer free food. She only offered me a hot can of coke. The fish was not cooked thoroughly and all good was dry. Horrible service. Never again!
The food was amazing and the staff was very friendly. I went to the location in Short Pump and I ordered the Jerk Chicken, rice and peas and cabbage. The atmosphere was great, enjoyed the reggae music and I will definitely go again. Two thumbs up!
Ordered a Curry Chicken and a Jerk Chicken to go. Both were delicious, chicken had a lot of flavor and meat was really tender. Definitely will come back to try the Oxtail. You probably want to call first in case they ran out. Heidi was very friendly.
