The good: DELICIOUS cookies and ice cream. Just what we craved while staying downtown in what is a surprising dessert desert on Sunday night.The not so good: we ordered through Seamless/Grubhub and the delivery was a wee bit late because of a driver shortage…not a huge deal, gas is expensive and everywhere is understaffed. But the delivery of our ice cream sandwiches came as separate cookies and tubs of ice cream. Again, given the challenges of delivering ice cream, make-it-yourself is probably a smart move to prevent soggy ice cream sandwiches. But: we were staying in a hotel, and the ice cream tubs did not come with spoons. And we had no spoons (or napkins). Thankfully the front desk person had some and brought them to our room so we didn’t have to get dressed and go search for some so we could assemble our sandwiches.Mostly positive experience based on product and flavor but when delivery is involved they need to take some extra quality control steps.
After hearing so much about this place, I will say it was a bit anticlimactic. I got a snickerdoodle, sugar, chocolate chip, and oatmeal raisin. I am assuming they were made from scratch, if so, they did not have that usual made from scratch taste. Overall they were a bit underwhelming, and not as impressive as I had heard. They were just okay.
Interesting spot with lots of dessert options to choose from. Very tasty and I would definitely recommend.
Although the cookies are great, there is a set of stairs to get to the location and no ramp. We drove from Short Pump to get there (25 minutes), only to find out that our friend couldn’t go inside because she uses a wheelchair.
I'f you haven't tried insomnia cookies you don't know what you are missing! Our daughter took us there for three first time and wow! It eased great!
Definitely has that homemade taste. I love it. ❤️ I've tried other cookie spots and insomnia is still my fave
. Ordered cookies and when the delivery girl arrived I received 8 calls to my phone. I was doing something else and the calls were insane. I picked up and spoke into the phone making it clear to STOP INSENSATELY CALLING they refunded me and refused to deliver to my adress. Even when I wrote on the deliver directions to leave it on my doorstep becuase I’d be busy. Manager apologized for calling an insane amount of times becuase how tf was I suppose to know that was you it definitely want precessional behavior
We ordered chocolate chip cookies, and they were amazing! The cookies were vegan, gluten free, and baked perfectly. My husband eats gluten regularly, and he really enjoyed them too. I highly recommend these!
Just went to this place with cash which they do not accept and they do not have it placed on their website or in store.So not having any other form to pay with but cash the employee was not considerate or helpful in the matter.I just wanted something sweet to eat and they had no other alternatives.I am disappointed and would not recommend this place to anyone.How can you please customers with no success. I was willing to pay for my cookies and put what I owe in the top jar with no success.Puk ya!! I wasn't asking for anything free and willing to pay for my order
