If memory is the 2nd thing to go and I can't remember the first, that explains my visit. To be fair, I was jazzed seeing Swedish Crepes on the menu because those with lingonberries can be fabulous. They weren't. Some 'off' taste about the berries and the crepes doused that enthusiasm. Then the scrambled eggs - how can you mess up an egg? Perhaps by using chickens on "clearance" tables? Not a clue. But hey, the hash browns were still there and had to be... Oy. Salt need not be added, they had plenty. But the fruit was just fine and so was the coffee and my server was a treat.
Waiter was nice and attentive but was pretty busy with other tables and we had to wait for condiments, refills and such. The food was hot and made correctly. I gave 4 stars only because they seem to be a little short staffed but then who isn't these days.
Worst experience I have ever had at an IHOP. I do not recommend this place to anyone, nor will I ever return. We met up with friends at this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were told the wait would be 45 minutes. After waiting almost 2 hours, we checked with the hostess and she said our name was removed from the waitlist, but couldn’t tell us why. She put our names back on, but we still had to wait. After finally being seated, where they placed us smelled like a dumpster. Service was extremely slow. I couldn’t even tell you how the food was, as the terrible dumpster smell overpowered everything.
Restaurant was not busy but took an extremely long time to get our food. When we got it, it was luke warm. Waiter was pleasant.
I understand everyone is under staffed and very busy. However I have been place with only two servers and one cook and got better service then I did here today.
Server was very attentive and friendly. Service was quick and food was consistent to normal standards.
The hostess was very polite and willing to accommodate seating preference. Server was professional and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was delicious!
Great service “Jana”. Clean restaurant and staff’s uniforms. Did not see a manager but staff was engaged and participating in team service. Well ran restaurant.
Worst service we ever had at this location it took our server over 30 min to serve us on a Thursday morning when there was not a lot of people in the restaurant people arrived after and got there meals but was served by another server and when our order arrive we still had to wait on the toast, 93/jacqueli never came and check on us to see if everything was ok, then we had to go look for her to pay our bill she was having conversation with fellow workers. My husband very disappointed. This was the Midlothian store 0571. We were out of coffee she never came to check.
My wife's parents were visiting from a small town of less than five thousand in Missouri and asked us to take them to IHOP (her mother said that it had been many years since she last ate at one and was craving a short stack!). We were immediately greeted and shown to our table. Our server was very friendly and engaging with us. She took all of our orders and had our beverages to us quickly. Then, in less than ten minutes, our food was brought to our table. Everything was well prepared and hot. The restaurant was neat and organized. Everything, especially including the bathrooms were very clean. Her parents were pleased and impressed with the whole experience. Well done to the staff and management of this particular IHOP. If only they could all be like this one.
