we used to come here pre covid and it was great. the food was good and the service was fast. after covid we decided to pay a visit. the workers were very rushed and not friendly. the price was increased to $18/per person, which is quite more expensive than it used to be. the food was not good and most of it was cold. the good food like the crab legs and hibachi were no longer available. the sushi was horrible and the options were limited. we could even tell by how busy it was. the place used to be packed but now there is rarely any people. disappointed and won’t be coming back.

My husband ate a fried napkin ?We are not from Virginia. We were visiting when we stopped at this buffet with quite a few of my family members and our children. Our party was quite large. We all pretty much left when this incident happened. It was extremely busy and there was a line going out the door. We figured it must be popular, so that was pretty much the deciding factor when it came to where we all should eat.I wouldn’t recommend this place. Unless you want to eat crispy napkins. We should have addressed it with the establishment. But we were gracious enough to let it go.Go at your own risks, I guess.

Worse experience every. Over priced. Food is bland. As soon as I seen the man pick up food off the buffet with his hand and then took it back off of his plate with his hand and put it back on the buffet it was time for me to go. Never again. Told the manager and he just laughed told the man not to do it again and said he can’t watched everyone. Very disgusting. If I could give a -00 I would.

I’ve been going here for years. The staff will normally will grab your plate before even asking if your done with it. The servers are assigned to so many tables that they rarely refill your drinks. They crowd everyone in one space for dinner, so if your going there after 5/6 prepared to be sitting around bigger tables. They give you masks and gloves to go make your plate, but there’s so many people who don’t use them, especially the kids who pick at the food anyway. The food is okay for the price, but the seafood options have diminished.

Went there a few years back and food was decent at best and competitively priced for a buffet. Attempted to try again recently and price per person jumped up to $16 per person (weekend) and I believe $8 or $10 for kids. Not the end of the world, but to top it off they added like 3 other surcharges (to include drinks & gratuity) which ended up adding an additional $7 or $8 per person. They do not tell you about all the surcharges until you're at the register. When we pointed out dissatisfaction with the price, the lady at the register began to raise her voice in front of everyone else in line. She proceeded to use profanities and called us cheap. She also told us we had to wait for other customers in line to pay before issuing a refund. We were not rude, only questioned amongst ourselves why the total was so high and requested her to issue a refund in order to eat somewhere else. Worst customer service experience in my life. Never again! Do not recommend at all!

I just can't get excited about Hong Kong King post pandemic. They do not have their sushi bar running and it looks like they are using it for storage. The entrees are so so. The fried items weren't fresh. The noodles overcooked. The hot mustard was in packets (if I want take out, I will order take out). Desserts were generic. They could do so much better...like they used to be.

They require payment upfront of $20/person which includes a tip but not a drink. The food was cold/old/chewy/hard... Take your pick. The staff was friendly which is why I'm giving 1 star instead of 0. And because Google's algorithm doesn't allow for zero star ratings lol. It was almost weird that a place with such good service would have such terrible food. The hibachi was closed and there was no sushi. I hated that I spent my money there. It was my first time going and my last time.

I have nothing but nice things to say about the staff or environment. 3 stars comes because the price is way too high. 20 bucks and I think part of that was an auto added gratuity for one person for food that just tastes like it should. There was nothing I ate twice except the fish which I ate because I paid as much. Thought I’d fill on the soup but even that wasn’t good enough. 3 stars for price not meeting quality

The food was just OK, the service was rude on multiple occasions, they charged a tip up front without asking me (I did not like that) and the overhead music was really loud. When my buddy asked them to turn it down, the host was blunt and short with him. We had to almost shout at each over dinner. My buddy had the same impression I got from the service. Won't go again. Kick Back Jack's next time.

This is one of my favorite spots to come eat. The hibachi bar has a decent selection and made hot and fresh in front of you. They have a nice sushi selection as well.
