My 1st time at this location and I was in the bathroom all night. The potatoes salad was "slimy" and tasteless. The fish tasted like it was fried in old grease and not seasoned. The BBQ sandwich was really good and is the reason for 3 starz. I wanted a piece of cake, buy none of them, nor the holders they were in looked fresh. The look of the place doesn't look good and the food follows suit. Very disappointed in the money I spent in this food
Best barbecue this side of heaven (kentucky) i ate here and the service was excellent and rhe food hot and delicious ..i was treated with kindness and respect as a disabled veteran and my family loves there barbecue.
I paid over 8 dollars for a BBQ sandwich with coleslaw. It was only ok.not much flavor although the portions were great. Also I needed to use the restroom and was denied. I won't go back.
Me and my mom been going to hawks for the last 6 months for the lake trout we always loved it even through the prices are a little high bt we went today to get our usual and the lake trout had more bones than fish it was burnt and tasteless and the guy at the counter had the worst attitude when we placed our order we will not be going back awful experience! Food was nasty for $38.00 smh
Went here for lunch today. The server taking the order was friendly and prompt with service (hence the 3 star rating). We ordered the Small BBQ lunch special which is a small BBQ pulled pork type sandwich and fries. Unfortunately the sandwich is very underwhelming. There was very little sauce on the sandwich and it taste as if the sauce was 65% water. The fries were fresh and the thick fries. The chocolate yellow cake was super moist. This was my first, but ultimately last time going.

An Olde but Goodie! I met the owner for the 1st time despite my own Nana once being his employee. Saged and wise. Nothing bad to say. Be patience and respectful: a loving strong guy who cares. I loved what I daw!
The guy and the regular look are truly a blessing they are well mannered and always greet you with a smile ?

FIRST THE PLACE NEEDS A GOOD CLEANING...Second the food was tasteless , burnt , and even the buns were burnt I actually threw up. When I finished eating ..We had the crab cake sandwich it was burnt and the size of a small flat ball it was mushy inside no taste buns burnt and it had the nerve to cost us 30+dollars ...Now this was the plaza store indent recommend this to anyone at all but this was the worst Hawks I ever ate at.
