Absolutely fantastic! I was in the mood for soul food and some good mac and cheese. I googled Soul Food in Richmond and stumbled across Gummy's and I am so happy that I did. I got the smothered turkey wings with collard greens and mac and cheese and let me tell you -- everything was FANTASTIC! The mac and cheese was SPOT ON and the collard greens were so flavorful. And those turkey wings -- WOW! Some of the best I have ever had. The gravy was incredible, the wings were well seasoned, and the meat was so tender that it fell right off the bone. On top of that, the service was spot on! The hostess said it would take about 15 mins to get the meal, but it came in less than 10. The serving size was also on point. I am so happy that I found this place and I will for sure visit again!
My wife and I enjoyed the food at Cumby’s home cooking restaurant. We will be back again very soon. If you haven’t eaten there yet you should now. Excellent food and customer service.

I went here today for the second time and I have to share my experience. The restaurant is so nice, clean and well decorated. The service is hands down one of the best experiences I have had in a while, our server and the other staff gave amazing customer service.Next let’s talk about the food. Corn bread GOOD! Greens GOOD! Yams GOOD! Short ribs GOOD!Everything about my experience was excellent. 5 star service and I will be back!

Best soul food place in the city. My buddy's came in from out of town and we wanted to try something different, great choice. We ate inside while watching the game. Very clean and home feeling atmosphere.
