Gyros, octopus, baklava, smiley faces...
This is my absolute favorite restaurant in Carytown. The food is delicious, authentic, and healthy. The portions are huge. It is very reasonably priced considering the quality & quantity! The service is always prompt and professional, and the atmosphere is lovely. They also have a full bar in house and a small back patio. It checks every box for me. The smoked eggplant spread is my favorite appetizer. I highly recommend!
I haven’t been here in years, and frankly not sure why? The owner is a friend of my sons. He has done an amazing job with the menu and now the restaurant itself! I kept saying to myself…”am I just hungry or is this the best Greek I’ve ever had?” And I can tell you, it was the latter! Great food, great service, clean and friendly! Thanks guys!!
Th eggplant spread was out of this world! Meat lovers, this is your go to restaurant. Vegetarian, do not worry, you will not regret eating here. I highly recommend the stacked grilled vegetable dish, but do tell them to grill them well. If you go on the weekend, plan on a 15 to 20 minutes wait. It is worth it though, so don’t go far away.
We had a very enjoyable lunch at Greek on Cary. The service was prompt & gracious. This was my first visit and was immediately met w a wall of white tiles leading into the restaurant. Juxtaposed to the black ambience of the first half of the restaurant, you literally step into a dining area bathed in light and space. Here you see a high-ceiling w artsy hanging light fixtures, and a glass wall facing Cary St. On another wall in rich blues is a great wall mural that announces to all, "Greece!". I like other touches of decor, such as the stained concrete flooring and marble top tables. The food was delivered quickly and hot. I ordered the Lamb Gyro Platter w fries and salad. I was surprised when it arrived to see it was not actually a gyro. Apparently, I missed that on the menu. The lamb pieces were piled on a bed of fries w tzatziki and quarters of pita on the side. In spite of my error, it turned out to be a very good meal. The salad w their Greek dressing is sooo good! My wife loved the Avgolemono soup. A hearty lemon chicken orzo soup. She also ordered spanakopita. She enjoyed the flakey phillo dough layered w spinach and feta cheese.
really good good but be aware of the time that you go. my friend and I went on a busy friday night where we had to wait 20 min for a table. not the end of the world but they were swamped with costumers. i got the lamb gyro platter and overall it was a little too salty for my taste. and the meat, though well seasoned, was a bit chewy. my friend got the lamb gyro wrap and said the meat was a bit chewy. overall i would come again but possibly on another day.
First of all horrible! Haha kidding nahh food was Bomb.com!!! Definitely worth the stop on our 6k mile road trip! Amazing service amazing food! Baklavas looked so good but I was stuffed hahaha.
Really amazing food and service. My coworkers recommended this place to me. I'm really pleased with the food quality and customer service they provide. I will definitely be coming back with my wife next time. If you're looking for good Greek food, this place is for you. Also, their prices are not too bad, if you're wondering ?.
The food was soooo delicious came here with my boyfriend we are from California and this was our first time trying Greek food
Super intimate setting that is uniquely decorated. We had platters, one with shrimp and the other with chicken. They gave hefty portions and the meat was seasoned to perfection, though the chicken was a tad dry. My only gripe was that the salad wasn't as nutritious, only consisting of iceberg lettuce. Really, that's just nitpicking because I ate it all. The dressing on top of the salad was delicious. Oh, and the stuffed grape leaves were amazing, especially after drizzling some lime juice on them. Great place with welcoming staff.
