Delicious food and good service but the atmosphere is a bit loud
Cheesesteak is very sub par... you can make a way better one at home for sure. Minimal low quality steak, bun is nothing special, and the fries were not crispy and mediocre. The only thing that was good was the cheese whiz and root beer... which is hard to mess up.I'm not really one to knock on food because every restaurant's business goals are different and uniquely catered to what their goals are... but I particularly didn't like my experience there because they were very unclear on how their combo sizes worked... there is regular and large combos sizes with only 2 sizes of drink cups, regular and large. To make your sandwich into a combo is $3.99.But they have 3 fry sizes, small, medium and large. Regular and large is all that's on the menu and there is no indication ANYWHERE on the menu that there are 3 different fry sizes. They pitched the regular combo as meaning you want a medium fry so you will get tacked on an extra $1.50 on top of the combo price.It was shady that he didn't explain it clearly and the way he pitched it was to trick you into paying more. He never explained that there is a small, medium, and large fry independent on the combo sizes - you can get a regular combo but get charged for a small, medium or large fry... what the hell is the point of the combo sizes then??After I ate, I told him he needs to explain how the combos work better because it doesn't make sense how they have it and it's not even on the menu. He then completely lied to me on what he told us... will never come back again.
Cheesesteak sandwiches are really good and tadty! Crisp, fresh(?) bread... nice! A great, affordable snack or lunch while shopping at Short Pump.
Had to go back to get lettuce and tomatoes for all my subs; $35 meal & love 25 minutes away. Fries soggy. Too expensive for the wait.
Customer service is nice. However the food is rather mediocre. The fries are rather soft, which could be your thing, but they’re wildly under seasoned with quite literally only a few granules of salt. Completed my food food incorrectly, payed the extra to have extra cheese and there definitely was not extra let alone much at all. Most of the cheesesteak was ok but portions were rather rubbery and the Mayo was only put on about half to a two thirds of the sandwich. Not to mention a good portion of the Cheesesteak was more dry than necessary. Place is also rather filthy. Mediocre experience with the price of the food- 2/5 stars
Love their sandwiches and fries! I also love that the calories are listed. Great for a cheap fast lunch when you aren't watching the calorie intake but need to know what it is for recording.
martin the manager is so unprofessional, rude, and difficult. smoothie was disgusting i took one sip and immediately didnt like it i asked if i could get it replaces with another smoothie or item of equal value he said because i picked out the fruit he couldnt refund it which i was not told and he said i shouldve read the sign. even while ordering he was difficult and had an attitude very unprofessional and should not be in a manager position. i even left a tip after ordering bcz i thought maybe he was just having a bad day. instead of accomidating me in the slightest way he says its my fault for the berries i chose. i chose strawberry raspberry blueberry literally very common flavors. the smoothie was way to creamy and sweet tasted like a sweet vanilla yougurt rather than a smoothie. he is now, as im sitting here writing this, hiding in the back of the store w the other worker talking bad about me even using profanities to describe me. he kept making up other reasons for why he couldnt accomendate me. do not go! better off going to auntie annes next door much nicer and better food wnd customer service waaaaay better they even said that many people complain about great steak and end up coming to auntie annes after being disappointed next door. my friend also got food from great steak and she barely ate any of it. honestly deserves to me demoted from manager to regular employee
I ordered an original chicken Philly and got... An original Philly. (I was wearing a mask, so was the cashier, there was a sheet of plastic between us.... Pandemic goof.) It was fine, I'm just not a huge fan of the cheese sauce vs real cheese. Food came quickly and was tasty. I'd go back to try the chicken Philly. Be warned: the fries are gross. They're NOT the thin fries shown on the menu board, they're thick, limp"steak" type fries (like the kind you get at KFC but much worse). I'm sure you could sub a bag of chips in the combo. I'll say it again: the fries are gross.
Good food. But customer service is very poor. They need to be more accurate with the prices because they'll have a lower price advertised on their menu but once its rung up its a MUCH HIGHER PRICE.
First cheesesteak and it didn't disappoint. The bread was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle.
