Came in today to meet with a client and go over our upcoming job. We were seated at the bar and had the best guests experience you could ask for! Alex was sweet, gracious and extremely thoughtful bartender! She took care of us observant and let us have time to talk and did all the extra special things you just don’t see anymore… she is a throwback to the great bartenders of old. We plan to be coming back more often to the Galley thanks to Alex!….Dear management you have a gem with Alex!.. she’s a best hire you guys made in the last five years!

The Galley is one of my favorite local restaurants! They offer 'blackboard specials' throughout the day.I love their dinner specials which begin at 5p! Their standard menu is ample and offers a variety of selections. The beer offerings are exceptional for lovers of craft beer! The atmosphere is great with their open kitchen and the music playlists they feature are amazing!I've been a patrol from the beginning and the 'blackboard specisls' have never disappointed!

I ordered eggplant parm and calimari today (4-14-22). The calamari was like eating over cooked rubber bands ( I ate some and tossed the rest) and the eggplant Parm, was tasteless with unmelted cheese. I think the eggplant parm was frozen vs fresh. The above items cost $30 plus bucks. For $30 bucks I expect good tasting food. The reality was a very poor meal. I should have gone to Stella's and had much better food for less cost. This was my first time at this restaurant, probably my last. Would not recommend the Galley!

I go here today to order some breakfast and the girl that took my order to goI leave out then I go back inside to check if my food is ready of course it's not then she's trying to charge me $2.50 for something I don't even know what she said so I just paid her anyway while waiting for the foodShe hands me my food back sideways which is a plate in the bag so by the time I get to the car it's leaking insideCheck there's no napkins in the bag there's no utensils in the bag soI go back inside they don't have any utensils I believe they known about this before I ordered this to go should be told to customers who's ordering to go you don't know where they're going to eat atI don't really rate them a one-star but I don't like bad customer service

Galley has been a go-to location for us throughout the pandemic. We gave Ordered take-out, quick pick-up from the cold case, and dined-in when things loosened up. In all cases the food quality was top notch. It’s a great casual restaurant with food options for all pallets and eating preferences. Some of our personal favorites are the Gorgonzola & grape pizza, the eggplant parm, and the specials are always good.

The wait staff was amazing. The phenomenonal food was there before I expected.

We arrived around 7, and it was definitely busy. We were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait, and it ended up being about 10 minutes. Good start. After being sat, a waitress came by and put two waters on our table without saying a word to us. About 10 minutes later, a different waitress came by to asked us if we had been helped. We told her we hadn’t, but we were ready to order. We placed our food and drink order, and she came by within a few minutes with our drinks. Never saw her again. Another waitress came by and picked up our empty glasses, didn’t say a thing. The next waitress came by just after 8 to ask us if we’d been helped. We explained that we had, and she explained that they had lost our order. She didn’t make it seem like our new order would get any kind of priority so we left. Pretty terrible. This is in our neighborhood and I’ll struggle to go back.

Food was fine. I placed a carryout order, not terribly complicated, just four dishes. I was overcharged $4.00, was gratted 15% on the already inflated ticket (nowhere on the website nor on the phone when ordering was I told I'd be gratted 15% for carryout) and my order was not complete when i got it home (missing a side of fries). When i called I was first told that it wasn't the counter staff's fault that I didn't get my fries, but the kitchen's (which isn't really relevant in any way to me). I was also told that fries weren't on my order ticket (I have my ticket, they were indicated clearly). I gave up on the fries and moved onIt was later that I discovered the overcharge, and called back. After several attempts over time, no one picked up the phone again.I want to like this place, it's in my neighborhood and I walk past it literally every day. But this is ridiculous. All that said, the food is good enough, but I can't really recommend the place because the service is that bad. All they really had to do was act like they cared even a teeny bit that I was overcharged on an incomplete order.

Yummy french dip with roasted red peppers. Cafe con leches afterward was a great suggestion. The challenge here is all the construction on Forest Hill Avenue which makes getting in and out annoying. Nothing they can do about that except wait 10 years for them to finish.

Hidden gem! Great food, better staff! We ate outside because we brought the dog, but inside has a really cool funky vibe. I'll be back.
