Excellent-So glad we followed reviews. Great, fresh sushi. They provided a customized low carb for me - tuna, cucumber & seaweed wrap. We got there early and also enjoyed rolls from the $5 Happy Hour menu. Service was top & the decor is on par with modern sushi restaurants. Highly recommending with 5 stars.

The tuna poke was not only delicious but pretty too!

We were driving through from NC to DC. Were in the mood for some sushi. We picked the perfect place. Very nice little sushi spot, great menu with an eclectic choice of sushi.Great appetizers and rolls. Definitely recommend this gem.

Our server, a tall and very polite young man was impeccable and very pleasant. The sushi was so fresh and they put a generous amount of fish in their rolls. Sake was hot and plentiful

Fighting Fish for the win! Don't let the unfortunate storefront fool you. It is beautiful inside. I had the Fighting Fish sushi burrito with the salmon. There is also a tuna choice. Lunch included Miso soup and sweet potato chips with a spicy mayo dipping sauce. The server was magnificent, I was not rushed and had a very enjoyable meal. Located on Arthur Ashe Boulevard towards Broad and the 7-Eleven.

Great sushi rolls and fun atmosphere. We had the Rainbow roll, Tiger Tempura, Firecracker and Alligator roll - inventive and attractive presentations were backed up with excellent textures and flavors.Staff was super friendly but wished our server was a little more attentive and somebody really ought to tend to the bathrooms...

I remember my very first sushi buritto and it was simply phenomenal. Staff is very friendly. Service is really quick. The inside is kinda of small so not the most space. Prices are reasonable for your serving size and flavor. No negative comments after my several visits.

Excellent service. Freshness of simple rolls (salmon avocado, tuna, cali etc.) was impressive. This was the freshest sushi I’ve ever found in Richmond, especially for lunch. Miso soup was flavourful. The specialty rolls were interesting. The menu is simple and straightforward. Fighting to return again!

Loved the Sapporo and sake combo. They were out of a miso creme brulee which was a super, super bummer, but had great sushi and grilled mackerel.

Was looking to try a different sushi place in Richmond versus my usual place and I was so pleasantly surprised with Fighting Fish. From beginning to end everything was a 5 star experience. Great drinks, great service, great food. Have never had sushi that was so fresh and appetizing. Got the nachos and the Tuna Love roll. Would highly recommend
