Had a family dinner at the Fat Dragon. The food was terrific and the portions were big. My Old Fashioned was very good. I would eat here again next time I'm in Richmond.

Great food! The food is really tasty and the portions are filling. Celebrating Chinese New Year i thoroughly enjoyed my basil beef dish. It was prepared really well. The meat was tender and the sauce was tasty.
The food was good, the portions were nice and big, but it didn't have a wow factor like I was expecting with how lots of people talked about it. But it was still good. We got the crispy calamari appetizer with tangerine chicken, and basil beef dinners.
So good! This is one of my new favorite spots and I have not had a bad meal or bad service ever. Everything I've tried has been excellent

It was a last minute decision to eat here and a first time experience. It was clean and staff was friendly. The food was fresh, hot, and DELICIOUS! Super big portions! New favorite spot!
Hostesses said it would be about a 20 minute wait and we waited a bit less on a busy Sunday evening. I love that they text you when ready, as well as being able to see the line/time waited for people in front of you. Although they were busy, the staff handled it well. Our server was super friendly, getting our drinks, appetizers, and food out in a timely manner. Everything tasted great! I especially enjoyed the beer battered mushroom appetizer with spicy dip and lil puffed rice crunchies. Overall, it was a great experience! Another person/manager came over at the end and asked how everything was-- terrific! Thanks! ?
This resturant has the absolutely best Asian food in Virginia not just Richmond, VA. The facility is clean. The staff is friendly and actually HAPPY! The food is spectacular. The atmosphere is jazzy but not overbearing. The drinks are unique and tasty. The prices are reasonable and they have a great happy hour. The appetizers are yummy and the presentation is noteworthy.
