Excellent service, authentic Italian food, Delicious!

A hidden gem tucked in the neighborhood. Great bottle of wine, good calamari - fresh, two awesome pasta entrées, and nice cannoli to finish.

If you like authentic Italian cuisine, visit this hidden gem today! Enoteca Sogno is cozy and tastefully decorated without trying too hard. It's a place to focus on good service, good wine, and good food. The wine was fabulous! I wanted something soft but savory, and our waitres’s recommendation was perfect.

Great food and great wine!!! Low key family vibe too

First off, the service was absolutely wonderful! Our waitress was a gem and very helpful. On to the food, when I say it was amazing it was AMAZING! My husband lived in Italy for some time and he said it was just like being there. Now, this is no Olive Garden so don't go in there thinking you will get a "Tour of Italy" with all you can eat soup. It's sea side village Italian food. We had grilled octopus, rock fish, and branzino. Oh, the wine! It was phenomenal! If you are looking for something authentic or if you are looking for something magnificently delicious check out Enoteca Sogno.

Loved it and can't wait to come back. We stopped in with friends just to have some wine, but food aromas were so enticing, we had to get a few small dishes. Now, I can't wait to come back for a full meal. Great atmosphere, with friendly and attentive service.

Went with friends and had a lovely time! Definitely a hole in the wall little Italian spot, but excellent service, food, and wine. We started with a bottle of wine recommended to us by our server; followed by the bread (fresh, warm, delicious), the arugula salad (could've had more cheese, but the lemon vinegarette dressing was so good), calamari (excellent marinara), and the brussel sprouts. For dinner we had the Cornish hen dinner special (very rich. Super juicy and tender, and the skin was to die for), the pesto gnocchi, and the shrimp scampi. They warned us that the hen special would take awhile to cook, but between the wine and the cozy ambience, we didn't even notice the time. Everything was amazing, and the portions weren't huge, so we didn't have any leftovers and didn't leave feeling overstuffed. We even had room for dessert (the pistachio ricotta cake and the lemon mascarpone cake) paired with limoncello. Between the vibe, food, and staff, we had a wonderful time!

The rockfish was delectable and the stuffed tortellini was perfectly prepared. The fried calamari might be the best Richmond has to offer. They feature an extensive Italian wine selection. The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

These guys are amazing. Every time we're in Richmond we have to visit. The Flounder is superb and the duck is magnificent.
