We had a great experience today at El Caporal. We went at 12:30 pm right after church at Grove and were seated immediately and brought a warm basket of chips with salsa and another white dip that was delicious! Our waiter brought our drinks quickly and came back promptly to take our order. The restaurant was pretty busy but our food came quickly. My daughter and I both got the Fajita Taco salad with chicken and it was very good. I would have liked just a bit more lettuce in it but it was very good. Our waiter was very attentive with drink refills as well. We would definitely go here again!
What can I say. They saved the day. They were so attentive, welcoming, and fast. We had a party of 8 and they took such good care of us immediately with no wait. Even though it was Mother’s Day and pretty busy. I will be a customer for years to come. Very family friendly and great for couples. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I enjoyed myself and felt so happy that my family was in such good hands. The service was excellent!!!!
Usually well above average, ordered tonight post 8:30 for pick up and after a 10 minute trip back home my hard tacos were basically floating and the ground beef itself was really odd in texture and flavor from what little I could stomach eating.99% of the time great experience, just not this time.
The restaurant is small. On a Friday night, it was packed. All kinds of people and the employees greeted several customers has if they were family. Asked about their family members or if all went well at their doctors visit. I was impressed. The food was very delicious and employees very attentive. The only reason I didn't give it the full 5 stars is due to the crowded restaurant.

We've been going there since it opened. Always great food and friendly service. I would recommend it to any that like Mexican food.
This used to be a fish place many moons ago. First time I've tried Mexican here. A Texas fajita at another popular Mexican restaurant was almost $20 and only had 3 shrimp. SMH. This fajita here was much cheaper and tasted much better. Very satisfied.
Great little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. Much better than any of the chains (plaza casa mexico). Great lunch specials and the food is delicious and cooked quickly. Was a former long John silvers... off the beaten path but worth the visit.
My burrito was banging. Margarita was decently strong. Service was prompt and friendly. This was my second visit and both times was highly satisfied
loved loved loved their arroz con pollo!!! The chicken actually had flavor in it and it was amazing. My boyfriend got the parrillada and loved the flavor of the chicken mixed with the steak. Amazing service as well, definitely recommend to give this place a try!!
