Just paid $20.44 for 2 bagels with lox. I eat this at the short pump branch often. It’s usually amazing. The bagels were tiny - like, child sized, mini bagels. There was one, tiny, anorexic slice of lox on each bagel half. Didn’t even cover half of the child bagel. Super disappointing, a huge ripoff, and I’ll not be back. If they were running low on ingredients, they should not have accepted my order, or they could have called to tell me they don’t have what they need, to make what I ordered. So disappointing. I can make a dozen of these at home for $20, even with inflation.
While there are the occasional limitations of a small kitchen area which can occasionally cause a bit of back up, I've always had a great customer experience at this location. The team is always hustling to get orders done but always greet me at the counter, if not when I enter. While there are certainly times that are much busier than others, I have little complaints since using the app to order ahead and pick up inside.
This was by far the worse experience I ever had at Einstein Bros establishment. This new manager is extremely confrontational and unwelcoming. From the moment I walked in she proceeded to start a confrontation about a previous interaction we had over a month ago dealing with being wrongfully charged for a product. She then accuses me of stealing meanwhile all I wanted to do was by a cup of coffee. Please do something about this current leadership, she is definitely not an asset to this location and I’m sure this isn’t the first nor will it be the last complaint about this new manager. And to clarify I am not speaking about Paris, I’m speaking about the other lady.
We love Einstein Bagels but this location is very poorly managed. Yesterday, we waited (with only 2 other people in line) for over 20 minutes while employees yelled at each other about orders. Today, we decided to give it a second try and the order was completely wrong. Even the coffee we ordered was terrible [black w/ half& half] and the half& half was clumpy. Disappointing to say the least.
Stopped by and ordered two cinnamon sugar bagels. I was told they were out. I asked if they could make some more (literally it doesn’t take long). The young “lady” says they are all “on the line”. What does that mean? She was rude and dismissive. Very disappointed in my experience here.
Second time coming to this Einstein. Absolute worst service. Slow. Nobody knows where to pay or when food is ready. Cashier just stands there with blank look on his face and AirPods in his ears. Bags piled at the end of the counter but nobody to pass the bags out to customers. Coffee kid should be fired. Only one in there worth a flip is the manager- who is probably way over worked by lack of competent staff. Won’t be back to this location.
For many years I came here for their Nova lox bagel when I taught in the area. Service was always friendly and although there was the occasional confusion regarding the type of cream cheese etc, being able to order a lox bagel was like a little slice of the north.Service has really gone downhill. They no longer have salmon flavored cream cheese - which is a shame, but within itself not an issue. Instead of any form of a welcoming attitude, they made me feel like my order was a complete inconvenience. When a customer asks for a different flavor of something, and there is no up charge, don't tell them that that's not the way it comes.Just a frustrating experience.
Location was out of plain cream cheese and there was a 10 minute wait for everything bagels. Running out of the most sought after bagel on a Sunday morning is just plain poor management. Running out of plain cream cheese is just unconscionable. Shelves fully stocked with cream cheese at any store within walking distance. Avoid this location unless you like disappointment.
This location has the worst customer service ever. The person working behind the counter helped another girl ahead of me because I wasn't standing in the right spot though she had told me to wait just a minute before the other customer even walked in and she was very rude. When I very kindly pointed that out she told me to go ahead and leave the establishment if I didn't like her. And the place was empty not surprised. worst worst ever treatment as a paying customer. never go to this place...
I got a dozen bagels sliced and they are sliced to the point they shouldn’t of sliced them. They have just a little sliver off the top and then the rest of the bagel. When it’s sliced it should be close to 1/2 the bagel on each side. This is a constant issue for this location
