get there early because they get busy! food is good and drinks are too. definitely a great spot for breakfast or brunch!

New place for us. Wow! Impressed with friendly staff, delicious food, lots of choices on the menu and option for indoor or our door dining.

Had a great time. Tried their new Rosemary grilled chicken. It was delicious. Add bacon to take it up a notch. The waiter and his trainee where awesome. Good job. Very attentive, deserved their tip.

I had a great time and a great breakfast. That's it. That's the main takeaway from this review. Now mind you, I went at the crack of dawn (30 mins after they opened) because I had a hankering for some corned beef hash and a good drink. My strawberry Mimosa was the bomb.com. I wasn't expecting tator tots to be served with the corned beef hash. I was hesitant yall. You can't get corned beef hash from just anywhere. I usually get it from places where all the servers are elderly, call you baby, sweetie and/or sugar lumps, and make the hot chocolate with milk. However, surprisingly I wasn't disappointed. It was good! I will definitely come back and get this dish again.I would also like to give a special shout out to my server Jamie (sp?). She matched my 8am bright energy and contributed to my happy day. She was attentive and pleasant. Thanks Jamie!!

Very good food, nice atmosphere

Tried the Toluca Poutine for breakfast and it was amazing! The gravy almost over powers the hollandaise sauce, but they go together really well. Great choice of cheese, and I loved the plating!

Who knew breakfast could be a "destination" meal? I did a random Google search for breakfast and came up with Eggspectation 2 minutes from where I was driving, with no preconceptions about the joint... WOWSAH, what a beautiful meal. The restaurant itself (located in the sadly deserted Stony Point Fashion Park) is quite lovely, with diverse seating options... and impeccable service on a not-so-crowded Saturday morning. My choice was the EGGSTRAVAGANZA, with 2 free-range eggs, 2 slices of brioche French toast, sausage and seasoned potato slices. I was really wowed... I mean, seriously, we're talking eggs, so what's the big deal, right? But presentation was impressive and the meal was honest to god... SPECIAL! The price reflects "special," for sure ($20, with my coffee), but this is the first time I have ever felt like breakfast was THAT special. Well done!

Honestly I didn’t have any expectations when walking past this place. The menu outside caught our attention and we were like “hey why not”. The outside of the establishment is decent. Customer service from the host was EH. Our waitress was bubbly and friendly. The bartender did an awesome job with our drinks. Was it worth the price? Nah but whatever. I tried to order the Tuna Burger. Nope, unavailable. I tried to order the Old Bay Crab Cakes. Nope, unavailable. I ended up settling on the Oyster Po Boy with sweet potato fries. It was ok. When ordering our food I specifically said “well done” twice for my husbands burger. TWICE. Now, it wasn’t the waitress fault but…..SERIOUSLY!?!?! Did y’all even put the burger on the fire? Did it touch the grill? I swear I heard the burger say “MOOOOOO”. I was offended that the cook grabbed it out the fridge, held the patty over a lighter and served that. I chose to pay for the other items because it wasn’t the waitress fault. What’s even more insulting is that the manager or person in charge did not come to the table or better yet making sure I paid NOTHING! It was what it was. Overall…..set the bar low before entering into Eggspectation.Update: Since posting this review AND the establishment replying to this sad review, no one from the company followed through by contacting me. Customer service speaks volumes and this place CLEARLY needs work. Save your money and walk pass this train wreck of a “restaurant.”

Food is great no complaints. However the wait time was terrible we were here for 2 hours and an hour and a half of that time we were waiting. They were not busy enough to have a wait like that. All of the tables are dirty and you can tell most of the employees don’t actually do anything all day. The bartender was the only one who was attentive and actually cared.

When ordering, I asked what beers they had on tap. I was told I should go to the bar and order and then she would put it on my bill. I thought that to be very strange but I went to the bar to find out what they had. I told the bartender what I wanted and he told me to go back to my table and order it from my server. I did ultimately get my beer after my wife got her coffee. We ordered food at the time we ordered our drinks. Two other tables around us were seated 5 to 10 minutes after we were. When they started getting their food before us we thought that was strange. After 40 minutes we decided we didn’t want our food. We told one of the other servers or employees that we just wanted our check for beer and coffee. We told them that we had been waiting over 40 minutes. They then tried to bring our food, we refused and asked for our check for the drinks. The manager, without apologizing, said the server was new. I told her they needed to assist her more. The bathrooms were gross. There were many employees and it wasn’t that busy.
