service was really great today, fast friendly and the food was good
So I looked at the reviews and maybe at one point in time the conditions was as they said they were but when I went into the restaurant on 06/062022 I'd seen something completely different. My excellent server Michelle greeted me in the mist of servicing multiple tables. Restaurant was clean including the bathroom (normally with short staffed facilities something is missed but they are on top of their duties), all of the other guests were attended in a timely fashion, and the quality of the food was hot and delicious. Michelle was respectful, engaged in conversation, maintained cleanliness, and to be honest should be leading that establishment based off her impressive efforts. If you hesitated to go in because of the reviews find Michelle and she'll take care of you just like I was. I hope the Dennys franchise takes good care of her!
I had a server named Jake at about 4am the other morning. We had been driving from myrtle beach to Baltimore that night. Couldn't find a place that would let us sit and eat even my 80 year old mother in law!. He made us feel special so welcomed took care of all of her needs even though he looked exhausted lol. Food was excellent and quick but the service was definitely above and beyond. I used to own a restaurant so I know good service when I see it.
It's a Denny's. It's fresh, hot and they get your food right. We got there at 830 and had no issues after being denied service at the IHOP down the road that "had an 8 top and couldn't accept anymore customers".Food was hot. Service good. Cheap. Got what we ordered.
I was excited to try this place because when I was a little kid my grandmother would take me here and I loved it. Today 5/1/2022 my fiance and I walked in at 11:15 we were sat immediately and the waitress Vicky was nice however we ordered an appetizer (mozzarella sticks) they came to the table about 35 minutes after ordering and they were cold. We didnt say anything since they were a little busy and I understand short staffed. Vicky came to the table about an hour after we had placed our food order and told us we were the second on the line to have our food cooked. AN HOUR our food wasn't even cooked yet. I went to the counter and paid for our drinks and the mozzarella sticks (even though they were cold) and we left. We wont be coming back. Anyone who is thinking about trying this place I wouldn't recommend it. I watched a couple who had been sitting waiting on their pickup and they were there longer than we were and they finally got their food when we were walking out. That's unacceptable. The owner or manager should be back there cooking and helping the staff to get the food out! If I could give zero stars I would.
Very poor. You can't eat where you want to eat. The breakfast was very poor as the amount I paided. About $11.99 for two small eggs, 1 small sauce about as big as my little finger, the very thin of bacon about 3 and 1/2 inches long. So I added 1 extra egg which cost $2.99 cent. Never received the toast until my food was almost completed. You can only get 1 napkin. There were only 3 people in their, and I can see why. I'll never go there again. Then cashier copy an attitude because I wouldn't sign the 2 dollars or 3 dollars tip. This is the dump. The last I went there it had a different owner. You could sit where you want too. I waited a total of 20 minutes to make my order with 3 people in their. It's been about 20 years ago since I been there and it wasn't like this. I paided between $17.0 and $18.00 for this mess. Who eats toast after breakfast.
Service was friendly - food was mediocre. I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but the menu and what you end up with are two completely different things. Just take a look at the menu picture and what I received. Really? I know you're short staffed but that's incredibly sad.
I have been to this Denny's for year and the staff have been amazing my family and I know some of the waiters by name. But on 02/12/22 I walked in and was told there was a wait of 15 to 20 minutes. Another person walked behind me and the waiter said the samething about the wait. The lady reply I will be in my car waiting and the waiter said okay. Why the waiter pass them ahead of us and ignore us been there until I said something. This place made me feel so discriminated.
I use to attend here back in the day after the club or just for a late night eats with my brother. Recently coming back here is even better than it was back then. Outstanding menu, outstanding cooks, outstanding customer service, just an all around great environment that made me want to come back as many times allowed especially now that they are open at night as long as they are covered you can eat in or have to take it out like at the waffle house when they are short on staff. No complaints, no regrets and a spot to put on repeat visits!
Great food, and amazing service! Michelle is the best, takes very good care of her customers!!! My son and I love this Dennys, there is one closer to our home, but we prefer to make the trip to that one, never disappoints.
