I love a good BBQ but don’t eat Pork. LOVE LOVE LOVE the fact that it is NOT pork. I was so happy I decided to try the BBQ sandwich and it was delicious ! Unfortunately I tried it for the first time on a Saturday and have been feigning for another taster but there are closed Sun and Mon. I’m currently waiting for tomorrow to get a sandwich !
Ordered on door dash at 8 pm only to have my order canceled at 9:30. Also have received wrong food multiple times. Food is good, service and execution is horridnessConsidering that the restaurant accepted the order and “was preparing it” makes it a deserved one star. I’ve felt with DD from that end before. Mistake was on your end not theirs.
I wanted to try out the BBQ from a new spot to me. I was shocked that first, they didn't serve anything pork. I ordered the country Fried Steak Dinner with Mac and cheese and onion rings. The fried stack was starchy and tasted under done. The Mac and cheese was okay. Now, the onion rings were excellent. My wife ordered the Meatloaf Dinner with mash potatoes and collard greens. The meatloaf was like mush and really unedible. The mash potatoes tasted like flake potatoes from the store, and the collards were a salt bomb. $30 bucks waste. Don't order with high expectations....One bright note. The cold peach cobbler once microwaved at the house to warm temp was good.
In Dunns old spot, glad they are carrying some of they're menu items. Welcome more, but they have a decent limited menu...a bit pricey. Brisket bbq was good. Worth a try. No pork on the menu, but they could offer more options for me to stoo. Saw some items covered up temp or permanent?Wish them success. My fav blackberry cobbler still there.
Dean's Barbecue sandwich really good..I strongly recommend my family and friends to eat there
No pork is served, which i thought would be a problem but there are several other delicious options. I got the steak And cheese....BANGIN! REAL chopped steak with melted real cheese not that cheese spread. Great flavor seasoned very well. Could stand for just a lil more meat but all together it is a GREAT sub! Very good job.
My wife turned me on to Dean's BBQ, while she was Door Dashing. I was Skeptical at first, tried it out and WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED.1st, the young Ladies who took my order were SO professional and patient. The Fish I ordered was cooked perfectly. I really like this place as I will explore the rest of their Menu..
Ordered a pound of sliced brisket, was extremely tender and tasted great. Also ordered 1/2 pound chopped, Cole slaw and baked beans. Staff very friendly. Will definitely order from there in the future.
Not knowing where to grab a quick lunch I was directed to to head over to the street that this establishment is located on. There were all the typical fast food choices but this place grab my attention as I was driving past and figured "WHY NOT"? Went inside not familiar with the menu, the fellow at the counter gave me a couple of different samples to try. Ended up ordering a Chopped Brisket sandwich with Coleslaw on it and a side of onion rings. I am headed back to Richmond next week and this place is on my agenda for sure!
Furious!! My first order a couple of days ago was mixed. The fries were good, the Mac & cheese was better than expected, my son's burger and my husband's burger were apparently great from their experiences. My brisket sandwich was great ONCE I got it. It wasn't originally in the bag so my husband had to call back and then DRIVE BACK to go get the sandwich that we already ordered but wasn't there. So a waste of time and just giving us the sandwich that we ALREADY paid for was how they remedied that. The barbecue chicken sandwich ??... The coleslaw I ordered on it, saved it. I'll be nice enough to leave it at that. But today!! I ordered a burger, gizzards and fries. The gizzards were OUTTA THIS WORLD. I'll give them that. They were tender but still had a perfect crunch, a little heavy on the salt but the texture made up for it. The fries were okay but AGAIN my husband is on his way back!!! I specifically asked for coleslaw on the cheeseburger. The person taking the order said they would make sure that it was there. I also heard my husband ask for it the way I wrote it, "mayo, lettuce, onions, Ketchup AND coleslaw. How did they add TOMATOES and STILL forget the coleslaw. At this point I just want my money back for the sandwich and to call the entire experience a loss.
