I ordered a early dinner or late lunch. It was superb! For my first time ordering based on the reviews only, I would say they are a five star! My girlfriend and I were reminiscing about different restaurant we have been too and She enjoys Thai meals. Why not; I look up restaurants near me and gave you a try! The dinner was Excellent!
This was my first time trying Crazy Thai. Had some issues getting through on the phone to place a to go order - the phone was answered then immediately hung-up. After that happened the third time I was about to give up but decided to give it one more try. That time someone answered and spoke to me. I'm glad I hung in there. Ordered the steamed chicken dumplings, green papaya salad, softshell crabs with curry and mango sticky rice, for pick-up. The folks were friendly when I got there. All of the dishes I had were very good. The curry sauce with the crabs was definitely the best part of the meal. The fried softshell crabs were cooked perfectly, although, only having two was a bit miserly, and three would have made it more of an entrée. I will definitely be trying other dishes. There are Thai places closer to me but if some of my other favorites are as good as what I had I will be happily go the extra mile to Crazy Thai.

The drunken noodles were good flavor-wise and had lots of tofu! However, The garden rolls were extremely disappointing in both taste and preparation. One basil leaf, one shrimp, all the cilantro coming out, not properly mixed, not even fully wrapped. The shrimp tasted really foul, and i couldn’t even eat them. Fresh rolls are my favorite dish but these were the worst I ever had. I really hope they will improve their spring rolls.
The food is good, the service excellent, and the staff are unbelievably helpful. To the person who helped me at the counter, I hope your schoolwork goes well, but don't let your work overshadow your mental wellness! Good luck

Just okay, run of the mill Thai food. Nothing really to write home about. Service was good. I think there's plenty of places in rva to get authentic Thai food for a more affordable price.
Great meals and a very nice chef who came out to meet us and even put an extra bowl of coconut soup on our take home order.
