Best crabs I've found in the area
Very good place to get a good bushel crabs, outstanding service for sure
I am very happy that I chose this place. We are new to Richmond and love steamed crabs. I looked around and there are other options, but this will be our go-to from here on out. It is family owned and they were very nice and accommodating. The crabs were good sized and steamed just right. This trip was for my wife's birthday and our anniversary, and it really made the day.

Extra big shout out to Q and the staff at the Crab Hut... I called Q when I was in Alabama and asked if he could please hold an order for me and without hesitation he came through like a champ I flew in from Alabama to Richmond and my crabs and shrimp was ready and he stayed true to his word !!!! Support black owned business and local small biz.... the Crabs and shrimp was awesome my family loved the Mother’s Day meal!!!!!...

The wife and I moved to Richmond from Fairfax Virginia in March 2020. We missed going to our favorite crab house, tried a couple of crab houses here and were very disappointed. Then we tried the crab hut and suddenly we could care less about our favorite crab house in Arlington Virginia. We ordered a dozen and a half of number one jimmies and waited as they were prepared. The owner and staff were friendly helpful and professional. The crabs we got were of superior quality. They were fresh, cooked to perfection and chock full of meat. The owner “Q” made you feel valued as a customer. I’m not sure but I think his helper was his son and he was obviously being taught about running a successful business by one of the best. The overall experience was first rate. We’ll be back. Thanks “Q”
This is far most the best place to get your crab needs. A small little black owned family business out of a garage. Well worth the pennies
