I’m not sure how this place gets 4.8 stars.I was passing through that area and decided to buy 1/2 dozen assorted plus a apple turnover. I took a bite out of one than tried another, I put them both back. Once I got home, already disappointed, I figured , well let me take a bite out of the rest of the batch before throwing them in the trash. NOTHING WAS SPECIAL ABOUT THESE DONUTS. For example they make 3 different types of apple donuts and fill them with them same product…. ??♂️?
This place always has great donuts. If something you want isn't at the counter, they'll make it fresh for you! Always great service when I stop by, no matter the time.
Love Their cake style donuts. Guy behind the counter juggled donut holes for my son. Always a great experience and good customer service when we go.

Don't forget to try the filled doughnuts.Very unassuming dive close to Richmond Airport. Have driven an hour and a half each way just to get my "fix" ?
I have been going here for over five years now. Quality donuts at a reasonable price. Don't want a whole donut? They sell delicious donut holes for a more reasonable price then dunk'in. A whole donuts not enought? They sell apple fritters and cinnamon rolls as big as your head! Love this place and staff is always friendly and patient with your donut choosing process. There are a lot to choose from.
I took off a star for the time I went there and they were closed, but during their posted hours. I come from a small town in Maine where we had a local bakery/donut shop and I've yet to find a place with better donuts. Country Style comes EXTREMELY close. EASILY the best donuts in the area
Fabulous staff with great coffee and delicious homemade donuts. You’ll never want a chain donut again. They coffee roll was superb and especially their buttermilk and chocolate glazed
Awesome local institution! Walk in and it just smells like yeast donuts. I liked the hard glaze on the glazed donuts, and the coconut one was awesome. Only minor complaint is that I did not like their cruller - it was not what I am used to - it was made with the standard dough. Also, they have cake sized coffee rolls and Apple fritters. Also sell coffee. The decor is vintage 1960s countertop.
By far my go to spot for donuts. Price is very reasonable and they are delicious. These are your traditional donuts, not off the wall style with cereal and bacon sprinkled on top. Highly recommend. Dont be fooled by the looks. What they've lacked into putting into the building they've put into their donuts instead.
These are the best donuts ever!!!!!!!! They are just so good you will not want any other donut..... They just melt in your mouth. Love this place.
