We had an amazing experience here for dinner. The ambience truly is one of a kind. The food was phenomenal and they even have frozen margarita flights!!!!! The steak my girlfriend got for her salad was arguably the best steak I've ever tried. Amazing experience again and we will definitely be coming back as well as recommending this location to others! Just go! It's well worth it!

Fav part is the vibe. From the lighting, murals, to the covered patio and fireplace. On point. My 4yo loved the kids menu and ate both chicken tacos. Already looking to coming back with my wife for date night!

Great outdoor space, good variety of appetizers. Friendly staff and theme atmosphere. Prompt service.

What a cute place, wonderful environment. Service was pretty decent and the bar selection was plentiful. The flounder with the shrimp was delicious. Others in my party got the NY Strip and said it was wonderful. Great size and filling. Parking is minimal, but it's worth the hassle.

Good Latin cuisine in the west end of Richmond. There was a dedicated parking lot behind the restaurant, which is nice when a lot of other restaurants on Grove require street parking. The vibe inside is very cool, the service was great, and it has a very large bar if you're only interested in drinks. In regards to drinks, I ordered the house margarita, and it was very average. For food, we ordered the chips with salsa and queso, the papusas, and the pork tacos. All of the food was delicious, but it was disappointing to only get three tacos for $25+. We would probably just get drinks and split apps the next time we go.

The flavors just aren't there, and the price point is off. I've had $10-15 tacos in Richmond much better than their $25 tacos. The lobster enchiladas are underseasoned and undersalted. Also the seasonal queso with ramps and burnt ends for $15 is basically just cheese with a few tiny pieces of ramp and meat.

Cocodrilo is absolutely my new favorite restaurant in Richmond hands down ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It was ok, Something’s in the Water cocktail was the highlight. Expensive and inauthentic - felt more like a place to be seen than a place to have a Latin culinary experience.

Just okay. They close their kitchen 1 hour before closing, so I think that's a bit off. Even without that, just inform guests during their reservation booking that the kitchen closes early. Also, there is no point in ordering an appetizer if its going to come at the same time as all the entrees and drinks. Maybe might return, but this place was just okay to me.

If you are looking for an extraordinary restaurant in Richmond, visit Cocodrilo! The upscale atmosphere, attentive and plentiful staff and overall vibe is just amazing! The food is presented well, very creative with many flavor combinations. Nothing plain here. We enjoyed the an app of crispy blue corn chips with a trio of tasty and addicting salsas, mains of flounder & shrimp special, the gnocchi with mushroom and greens, and delectable churro donuts with chocolate sauce for dessert. The comfortable, colorful decor is fun and welcoming, from the outdoor space in front , murals on the walls, the velvet settee grouping around a large fireplace inside. Glad to have this new restaurant in Richmond!!
