This place was supposed to be open, but by 11 am Friday it wasn’t. When I walked through the OPEN gate and asked if they were open they said no, and asked if I walked through the gate! I said it was open? I asked how long and they said 5 minutes. I waited and there was no urgency and a line of people…no thanks. Maybe put a sign up to let people know when you are really open.
The food was alright, but I literally had to inhale it in 2 minutes because I ordered at 5:20 and received it at 6:00, which is when my flight was boarding. If you’re gonna have 40+ minute wait times, you must tell people before they order!!! Also I ordered a grilled chicken burger with a side salad, it came with fries, and was $25 after tax.
Pretty disappointed and I don't like giving negative reviews. Came during regular meal time. Staff seemed really distracted and apathetic to customers. Bartender went on break and didn't tell anyone (coworkers or customers) so many customers unattended for extended period. I understand being understaffed but it was not busy. Issues with all the beer keg lines being foamy - and said it's been like that for over a week. Hard boiled eggs were way overcooked on salad and basically inedible. What is management doing?
Bad service bad attitudeOne employee working and doing everything ?Ask the lady what’s going on and she gave a bad attitude. At least 6 people waiting. So cmon guys hire more people make your rent money at the airport worth it. BAD BAD service. Don’t blame on covid. Pay people well and they will do a good job ??
For a brioche burger, pretty good
We ate here after attending a graduation at the University of Richmond in 2016 and thought the meal was very good. On Sunday Sept 12th our experience was not good. My husband ordered the Fried Fish Sandwich. He thought it was just o.k. My Grilled chicken sandwich was overcooked. It is hard to ruin a chicken breast. Mine was dry and was burned around the edges.. The fries were hot. Overpriced for the quality Will not return here the next time we fly to Richmond. Mallory was pleasant.
This place has great chicken strips and strong drinks. Not the usual watered-down cocktails you normally get at an airport bar. You should go here.
I love to travel and try out different eating options in airports. This spot did the job! Food and drinks came out pretty quick and hot. I ordered the 3 cheese grilled cheese on Texas toast (added bacon). The bread was toasted perfectly and to my surprise not too thick. The bacon was also cooked perfectly and thicker than expected. The sandwich was accompanied by a Tomatoe soup - excellent! For apps, I had the chips & queso blanco (decent - chips were crispy and almost a cross bt. pita and tortilla chips). I also shared an order of fried shrimp with my brother. We agreed the shrimp was crispy and tasted fresh. My brother had the burger and said he enjoyed it as well. Overall really good experience and would recommend.
Friendly staff and cool atmosphere.
Lights on during the middle of the day and no one was there to take your order/get your drinks or food, why not?!?!?!
