I honestly did not want to give this place 1 star. My first time ever going to this place. Took forever to get drinks and never received our food. Waited 30 minutes and wound up leaving. The waitress along with the other employees were smoking on a Hukah and never came to check on us to see if we needed refills or anything. This place is just awful. Never again. Richmond has to do better especially for the amount we pay as consumers to receive good and excellent customer service. This place was definitely not worth my time or even a thought.
I stopped here on a Tuesday, around 5:30 p.m. There were three customers seated at the bar and none at the tables. It's not a good sign when a restaurant isn't busy at dinner time.I ordered a pint of Michelob Ultra while I was looking at the menu. Pints were $3.00 because it was happy hour. I ordered the 16.99 a dozen Buffalo wings to go.My order was ready in about five minutes, which tells me the wings were already cooked and just reheated. The bill for just the wings was over $20.00. At first, I figured there was an extra charge for the blue cheese and celery but the receipt showed an "Auto Gratuity" of 18 percent was charged for the take out food. The wings weren't very good, dried out and not enough sauce.They had the biggest TV I had ever seen in a bar, jumbo tron sized. It was probably 10' x 30'.It was worth going there once to see the TV but now that I've seen it, I won't be going back.
First time checking this place out. It was actually really nice. The space seems to be able to accommodate a nice amount of people too. Drinks and food were decently priced and delicious. For a Sunday, it wasnt too crowded and there was a DJ playing a mixture of old and new music. Im considering going on a friday night for my B-DAY!
Definitely need to come back and try the food..but enjoyed the drinks I had at the bar outside. The young lady bartending was awesome!
Great Service, Food, Prices, ?? Drinks, Good music when the DJ there And Really GooD, Safe Energy in the building Everytime I've been. I've been about 4x now. Love da setup there!!! And it's Always A Big Plus for me that they Almost have my Dallas Cowboys on da Biggest Screen as they should be ???!!! Definitely an A++++ for me ?
Food was great staff was really nice loved the atmosphere of the place make sure you try the burgers
The food was good, atmosphere good, but some how much drinks were not rang up properly and we had to pay the 18% gratuity twice
Got the shrimp, rib and chicken tender meal but the shrimp were burnt. Good mix of music, drinks were ALL liquor and waitress was super attentive. I'll be back, but not for those shrimp!
My first visit was October 23rd 2021 on my birthday,with a couple of my family members, and we decided to sit at the bar, well it's out of the norm for me to sit at a bar, but it was nice. One of the bartenders bought my first birthday drink.To put it all in a nutshell, the service was very nice the food was extremely good and the drinks were good ,as for the atmosphere in the early hours when we arrived,it was calm cool and collective, however as the night progressed, it was live, after all the name of the place is Cities Bar and Grill. Oh yeah Western Henrico county Police department is the Cities Bar and Grill's security. So for my very first visit I give them five stars.
