Ah Christians I have had some good people watching experiences sitting in there. The pizza is good but could definitely be cheaper. It's affordable if you get only cheese but for 2 people to eat there with 5 slices in total its almost 25 dollars. That is half a pizza and that would make a whole 50 dollars at that scale. Absolutely insane. Especially considering this is a "college" restaurant. But you know what I do always come back because at the end of the day the pizza is quality so I guess the blame is on me.
The pizza is great. Classic staples an well as those with a new twist. Service was a little lacking. It's mostly self-serve but staff weren't particularly helpful when answering questions. The atmosphere is standard for a pizza joint. Seating is super casual. 1st come/1st serve with high chair seating, 1 extra long table top and a few high top tables.Christian's is extremely popular with the local college crowd. Largely because it's one of the few places open late night. They also have discounted prices by the slice late night. If coming after 8pm expect long lines, limited seating & lots of rambunctious college students.
Not enough staff, especially during lunch so you wait for the one person to make pies and cash you out. They don't often greet patrons. You just stand there until they are ready for you to order and pay. Sometimes that takes a while, but the pizza is good and the hours are awesome when you're hungry late night. It would also be good if they offered Halal and vegan options, since they have every other combo you can think of.
They literally don’t wear gloves when handling food. I asked her to put gloves in when picking up my pizza, she looked at me like it was a problem. They go back and forth touching pizza and money constantly and the new owner is so rude. He doesn’t enforce cleanliness rules at all because he’s disgusting himself. I honestly hate the way they have turned out.

Everything was good until at end.I been so nice to talk to this foreign dude one on one nearly whispering letting him know the Coke taste like dirt. I asked him when was last time he cleaned the filters.He then tells me Coke comes in and cleans them then next he tells me I never even drunk coke i said did you not remember you gave me a cup? The cup is in trash can with all soda in it.He then laughed said im trying to start some trouble, i said whatever and i started walking out he called me back but i kept walking out when he said im just trying start some trouble.Im like if i really wanted start some trouble i would done some outburst and somehow drawn attention to myself.I didnt do it, you acting unprofessional at end and me walking away ignoring you. Im not the person that gets angry period
Ordered a Stuffed Spinach Pie. The pizza arrived with different kinds of meat and without cheese. A dry slab of things I never wanted. I called the restaurant hoping to simply reconcile the problem. The employee on the phone just redirected me to order (again) online at their website. I'm currently on hold with Doordash to fix the problem. If you're someone who just expects the bare minimum from a restaurant, or have any kind of dietary restrictions, I'd advise you to reconsider before ordering from here. The picture says it all. This is inedible.
My favorite pizza place in Richmond.Late hours, pizza by the slice or a whole pie available as well a few other options such as Stromboli or calzones.Let's not leave out the fact that they do serve alcohol so you can get a cold beer with your large greasy tasty pizza(fountain drinks and water are also available).
The customer service here is pretty mediocre. You can literally stand behind the counter for 10 minutes when it's not even busy and they won't acknowledge you. This has happened on more than one occasion. Don't think I will ever visit this establishment again.
What kind of pizza establishment doesn't allow you to customize your pizza when you ask for a whole one? Another lady also said I'm not allowed to ask for slices of certain pizza if they weren't up on the glass display. It was 11pm - the restaurant closes at 3am. On the other hand, one of the Asian women who work there is great, completing my orders without any issues - the pizza is fantastic any time she's there.
