I have been looking for great Chinese food for a long time and this is the best in Richmond.RVAs BEST Chinese Choice.
I absolutely love the fried chicken wings here, I've been buying them since 1990. Today the craving got me and I called in for 4 orders to share with my family, thinking how happy they'd be to kick off the weekend with a big pile of wings. However, the lady at the restaurant was having none of it, she said I could only order two orders of wings! She said "we're a restaurant and we sell more than one kind of food, you need to order meals and something else. You can go somewhere else." After she made this astonishing speech, she HUNG UP! Here I was thinking I'd be making a small business owner happy! Mind blown!
Last time ordered soup and mock general tso chicken. Mock Chicken wasn’t cooked at all. I told her but she didn’t seem to care. 12$ in drain. Soup was ok, no issues.In the past, this place has charged my credit card multiple times on different days even when I bought once over weekend. When confronted she said it was in error. Gave 1-2 items free to cover up the mess. I ordered here most of the times since few years so not sure how many times they did this as I saw it at-least few times in past few months. After this I stopped using my credit card here.
Became vegan recently and was JUST about to go to peking and ask for orange chicken with no chicken just veggies and sauce because i miss it so when my mom suprised me with vegan food from here including the orange mock chicken and it was AMAZING i never knew they had so many vegan options and i go get sushi at akida right next to them! Hidden gem cant wait to get more
After reading many great reviews on their vegan options I can say this was not worth the experience. They get two stars for the speed and the price. But the food was bad and the service was worse.
Best Chinese spot in Richmond. They have a ton of vegan/vegetarian options. I love the mock sesame chicken and get it every single time. It’s so fxcking good
I grew up with this place. In my 20 years on this planet i have never had better chinese food. As far as the experience, sure they might be a little bit slow or take a little bit longer than usual but what can you expect from the best chinese food in richmond?! By far it is worth the wait. (Btw the longest ive ever waited is like 30 minutes)
Worst experience ever and I didn't even get my food. The owner is very rude and nasty. I ordered food here through uber eats, I called to confirm if my order went through because it never picked up a driver and uber eats took my money. The owner seemed to get frustrated and told me that she never took any money from me and hangs up the phone. I call back trying to get her to understand what I'm saying because I never said she took money from me I was talking about uber eats. She then proceeds to tell me not to call back or she's going to call the police like I did something wrong. Maybe if she would have at least tried to understand what I was saying things could've went different. But never again. Don't be rude if you can't understand!!

The food is great. By far my favorite Chinese. The place seems to have a big issue with keeping up, however. Good luck getting an order in online. They have cancelled my orders on 3 separate occasions (placing a large hold of funds in account) after placing them online for delivery because they were "too busy". Great food, but a lot of effort to get delivered most times. Unless you are in pickup range, don't bother.
