This is one of those places you always hear about. A local institution where you just have to be patient and go with the flow but you'll be rewarded. That chicken sandwich should have a gold medal, and even though you'll hurt yourself trying to finish the chicken chunks and fries in one meal, you'll try anyway. Will repeat. Cash only.
I have catered from her many times. Chicken was always nice and hot when I picked up.

Man...that is excellent fried chicken. I've enjoyed food all over the world, eating at 3 Michelin Star restaurants, taco trucks, and chain restaurants. This is in the top 5 best chicken places to eat, according to my palate and my belly!

Small location and doesn't look like much but great chicken and fries.
Hadn't been here since my college days, so I was interested to see how well it held up. Turns out, pretty well. The price has definitely gone up on the chunks and fries, about $15 after tax! Chicken was hot and fresh. Could've been more seasoned, but that's what the big chick sauce is for. Overall, still a hood gem.
