Pleasant experience overall. We ordered Pizza & Wings. Easy ordering process. The young lady that answered the phone was courteous and professional. They had a great special going so we took advantage of that. Fairly quick delivery. Food was still hot when it arrived. Pizza was delicious. They definitely didn't skimp on the toppings. Wings were small BUT that seems to be the norm everywhere these days. Chickens are just smaller. But that's not a restaurant issue, that's more of a supplier issue. But the wings were pretty good though. Just small. We will definitely order from here again. Good food!

They are friendly, an take the time to look at there reviews, to help improve anything they can but also reach out to there customers. The pizza is fabulous along with the location of the place because it has plenty of access to walking distance places in the city. Chanellos is the one stop shop for any and all pizza lovers, keep up the good work and service at chanellos.
Terrible quality and standards of food. The order I received was covered in grease and even the plastic carrying the food was covered in grease. The only good thing was that I didn't have to wait for my food. Last issue was that the aluminum wrapping that the sub came in was ripped on the side so there is the possibility of cross contamination from other foods. I have eaten at chanellos before and normally have never been disappointed but this specific location clearly has a different opinion about what the definition of customer service is.... unfortunately I do not recommend eating at this location.
This hands down has to be my worst experience getting anything delivered to the hospital I work. Not only did my order take 4 hours to get here (it's literally 2 miles from where I work) it was also ice cold and tasted like it was made 4 hours ago. Seriously is every one that works here smoking crack in the back. I hope I don't get food poisoning and this place should be shut down.
Every single time I give this place a try they do the exact same thing! I just want to scream! The cost to get things delivered via Grubhub I shouldn’t have to deal with certain things. I asked and stated in the comments section “ plz! Plz! Plz give me crispy wings.” Get my food and the wings are the color of McDonald’s French fries. Not only are they not done completely it’s a platter full of drums and the sauce is thin as juice. To top things off! Majority of the drums aren’t even full sized. Looks like the chicken was shaved down on both sides. I’m looking at bones before even taking a bite. It’s no need to call and complain because it’s the same culture of people working there as always. It’s always frequently young folk with no respect, lack of work ethic, rude, and lifted off of something. At this point never again in life will this place ever get another dime I worked hard for.
although this has been my go-to late night pizza spot since i moved to RVA in 2008, today i am very frustrated with the service at this location. Last night I ordered a 2-topping pizza, cheese bread, and a chicken caesar salad. When the food finally arrived, the salad did not come with chicken and the pizza only had one of the two toppings. they also did not provide a receipt with the delivery so that made it difficult to verify whether they took my order wrong (and i paid for what i got) or they filled the order incorrectly (and i paid for chicken and a pizza topping that i did not receive). i called last night when i realized the salad did not come with any chicken and the person i spoke with (the/a manager i believe) told me she would remove the chicken from my order. after i hung up with her, i realized that my pepperoni pineapple pizza only had pepperoni on it. So i called today to ensure that I was only paying for what i got. the associate that spoke with me was not helpful because he did not have permission to make changes to an order from the previous night.. which makes sense and i can't blame him for.. but he interrupted me when i was explaining the details of the issue for him to communicate to the manager. he hung up on me while i was trying to explain that the manager said she would remove the chicken from my ticket but was unaware of the missing pizza topping. that is why i am now leaving this crazy long review. I hope to adjust this review ASAP - once i get confirmation that i am not paying for items i didn't receive. The error was on their end so I hope they take ownership of this issue and make an effort to resolve this so that they can retain me as a loyal customer.
Ordered a pizza and it’s currently and hour and a half late, however said delivered on their “tracker”. I tried to call them but I guess no one likes to pick up the phone ): anyways, after 10 attempts to call, a rude lady told me I just needed to be patient. I asked why it said delivered and she said idk. I asked when it was supposed to be delivered she said idk. I asked why it was late and she said idk. She proceeded to cut me off and tell me she will refund my order right before hanging up on me. I hope from the bottom of my heart that that nasty lady gets fired <3
Came for a nostalgic visit , and I have to say not again. I'm hoping I dont get food poison if the kitchen is as unclean as the lobby and outside of establishment. Take some pride in your buisness, have pride in where you work. Outside was littered with uneaten food and liquor bottles. Lobby or entrance was littered with paper and someone's partially eaten food.? I guess it's a good thing this place does delivery, more than anything, you cant see how trashy the place is that prepares your food. If so this place might be out of business. Won't come back ,was hoping the food would at least allow me to leave a better review but nope.
Chanello's Pizza is my favorite pizza place! Back when I was a child, my parents would order Chanello's Pizza every Friday. I've always loved their pepperoni pizza! Nowadays, my brother and I come here every once in a while, and the staff are always very friendly! We order the same pizza each time, and there's a really nice young girl who works there who always recognizes us and has our order memorized each time we order! I always appreciate that, and I especially appreciate how friendly the staff are!
