I really enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. And the wait staff was very pleasant and quick to serve my needs. My problem though was the food and the price. I mean it's "mexican" food trying to be elevated. Even coming with a little edible flower but what's the point if it looks good but really doesn't taste good? I mean it wasn't horrible. But I'd rather eat a very generic Mexican restaurant if that's how it gonna be. More flavor, more salt, better presentation. That's what I would suggest. Not bad but it definitely could of been better. BTW don't get the wings.
The ambiance in the restaurant is awesome. I thought that maybe at first since the restaurant had just opened, new staff, etc. was the issue, but I then waited a few months to let them get out the kinks. I’ve tried 2-3 times since it’s close to where I live. The problems were from the bar not knowing how to make a Texas Margarita - Beef burrito not tasting well at all. I’ve been to a many Mexican restaurants and that just blew me. Will not go again.
Let me begin by saying, this restaurant is as pleasing to the eyes as it is the palate! I highly recommend this unexpected find on Carey Street! Delicious food at a great price! Staff were kind and attentive! I will be returning!

Went during brunch on a Sunday, so good!! My server was really nice. Food was great but it was cold :P but idc and i loved the $1 mimosas

Came here after brunch for a quick snack and some drinks not expecting too much. Turned out to be the best part of our day. Bartending staff was beyond friendly and accommodating- they made sure we enjoyed every bit of our visit and generated an amazing environment. I would say give them a raise, but since that’s not how it works I would rather everyone go out there and leave a FAT tip! 10/10 we will be going again!!
Van was our waiter this evening and we had the BEST experience!! Please be sure to visit, and if Van is on shift…sit in his section!! It was busy when we arrived, but Van made sure to inform us about possibly having to wait. He remained attentive throughout, and made us feel soooo welcome! Van, if you read this, you’re awesome and keep up the great work!!!
Disappointed.1. The shrimp fajitas had no flavor whatsoever. Even the added jalapeños that I had asked for did not make a difference to the taste.2. There was no chips and salsa that you typically get at Mexican restaurants3. The tostones was over cooked.4. there was an automatic 15% gratuity added even for takeout. I would generally tip anyway for takeout but feels weird in the way it's done.The only silver lining was the enchiladas which were what you would expect.
Service was slow, chips were bordering on stale and my enchiladas were luke warm. Plus they include a 15% tip without disclosing it and then ask for more on the credit card receipt. Very disappointing will not go back.
