DELICIOUS! We ordered 150 cupcakes, 3 different flavors, and one small cake for our wedding. They were so yummy and beautiful! Reasonably priced and Meg was very friendly and communicative throughout the entire process. HIGHLY recommended!
These cupcakes are good, but not great. I like the flavors but the cupcake itself is pretty dense and dry. I'm a fan of fluffy moist cupcakes. That being said, the Bee Sting cupcake was AMAZING! I would go back just for that cupcake.
We contacted Carytown Cupcakes two weeks before our wedding, and they were so helpful! They got our order down right away and provided options for delivery and arranging the cupcakes!
Carytown Cupcakes provided cake and cupcakes for our wedding. Super easy process scheduling a tasting and booking with them and we could make changes up until a week before our wedding date. We had their Lemon Lover cake and they were so nice to fade the coloring of the lemon curd so it wasn't as bright yellow. For cupcakes flavors we had their Vanilla, GF Strawberry, Carrot & Oreo Peanut Butter and they were all good. Our guests favorite was the Oreo Peanut Butter.
Amazing! The employees are always working hard in the background to produce the BEST cupcakes in RVA. They have a large variety of options to choose from. And the customer service is outstanding, and all very friendly.

I like that they have cupcakes, cookies and drinks. I was excited because they had gluten free options. I got the salted caramel gluten free cupcake. I did not enjoy it. The cupcake itself was dense and dry. The frosting was so sweet it hurt my teeth. The only good thing was the salted caramel. It was actually salted and creamy. We also got a cookie and banana cream cupcake which were also not enjoyed very much.
Four cupcakes for $15+ I expected so much better. Too small. Not enough frosting. Frosting too sweet. Dense; 2 were dry, especially the red velvet one. Had so much better and paid less. Won’t be back.
I use to be very impressed with this place years ago when I visited, but.. I went today and was shocked by how dirty and run down it looked.. almost looked like they were closing down soon so they stopped caring about the place. Dogs werent allowed inside, which was always my favorite part of visiting and getting my dog a cupcake aswell. I did buy her a cupcake but I actually was so grossed out by the crud on the ceilings above the food that I didnt get anything for myself. I think the owners or management need to really take a step back and look at this store front.. its bad.
Enjoyed the carrot cake cupcake and Raspberry Chocolate cookie, the red velvet cookie was my least favorite because it lacked a distinct flavor, although the texture was great. The shop was super clean and well lit. The desserts are displayed neatly and labeled. The cookies were chewy in the middle with a crisp outer edge watch was good. The cupcake was just a tad dry, full of flavor and not too sweet.If ever in the neighborhood, I definitely recommend you stop by.
