While passing through Richmond I called from the road to make reservations. However, when we arrived at the restaurant there was no record of the reservation. Austin, the manager worked out the problem quickly and professionally. Jessica, our server, was knowledgeable and attentive. The chicken Marsala and veal piccata were the best that we’ve had. Would definitely come back regularly if we lived in the area.
We ordered appetizers and dessert, they were delicious. We selected the meatballs, stuffed mushrooms with sausage and the buttery gooey cake w/ice cream as our mid day snack and we were not disappointed. The portion size was perfect. My only complaint was the temperature of the room, it was a tad bit chilly, so bring a sweater if you visit in the spring.
Came for their monthly wine dinner. Enjoyed wine pairings with each course. Tables were still in Valentine's theme so fun from the onset to share a meal with my wife. Modest but perfect portions for us. I recommend this as an option for people looking for a different date night. We even won one of the raffle prizes at the end of the night...
Attended or a birthday celebration. Excellent food. Happy hour on Saturday is always a plus! Sangrias were delicious!
I went with my family to celebrate a birthday and had a wonderful time. Our servers were very kind, quick with service and didn't hover or make us feel rushed. The food came out quickly and was delicious (I got the shrimp pasta) but the blackberry sangria was the star of the night for me ? It was very good, if I hadn't drove myself there, I would've gotten a second glass. Loved it!
Hadn’t been here in years. Wasn’t missing out on much. Very underwhelming. Portions extremely small. Had app, entree, side and drink. Still left hungry. Not someone who goes overboard when eating out
Normally get great food & service. But today we even beat the church crowd in, seated immediately. Made our selections then waited over 40 minutes for our 2 chicken sandwiches from the lunch menu to arrive. Watching people seated after us completely finished with their meal before ours even arrived. Saw that the server obviously forgot to key our order in since it said 12:37 pm and we clearly arrived by 12:10 pm. Maybe short staffed today didn't even see the manager come by the table as usual. Hopefully just an off day.
This is one person's opinion about the restaurant for one thing the restaurant was very clean friendly host friendly waitress I ordered calamari who is was good but a little salty are you loaded is minestrone soup no taste then they have this lemon butter sauce the worst sauce I ever tasted I'm very sorry I order dish with it it was horrible and the marinara sauce no taste and my daughter's dish was also a little salty I don't eat salt with my food and she does and she said it was salty
Since COVID, the quality of product has gone downhill. Wait times for your order are long, be prepared to wait. Waiters seem rude and intolerant. Who knows maybe they worked a thousand shifts, but a smile can go a long way. We are HUGE tippers, and it just takes you being nice to get that huge tip.
Ordered 5 items. 2 were missing and 1 was not what we ordered at all. Manager indifferent and offered no apology. This has happened twice before- food is good.Post- manager called with sincere apology. We will try again.
