Came with a service dog and the owner, William Scheil, was extremely rude and nasty towards us. The first thing he said when he walked up was ‘You don’t look like you have a disability’. He then asked for the service dog’s papers which were promptly given to him, then asked what disability-against ADA law-then angrily told us to go outside because he doesn’t want dogs inside and ‘doesn’t care about what the law says’.We live around the corner from this bar and we will never go or recommend this establishment again. William Scheil’s actions were disgusting and an embarrassment to the Lakeside community.
Went on a Friday. Service was OK. Food was good. Really need a extra waitress on busy nights to work the floor so the bartender can focus on the bar. It would help get tables in and out so more people could cycle in and out and bring in more money. Just a thought. No disrespect to the waitress/bartender but she did seem like she was over worked with barely time to grab a sip of something before she was back at it and even then she had her hands full which slowed service down. Communication over a loud band also slows service. Bands excellent just hard to tell a order over.
This establishment is owned by one of the most horrible people I have ever come into contact with. He is an abusive, cocky, lawyer that disrespects women in every way shape and form, and made his way of life to take advantage of the unfortunate and cares only for himself. He is a vile human being. The establishment is disgusting and unsafe and I know this for a fact, from first hand experience. Please spread the word. Save yourselves and our community and do not support this establishment!
Really good bar food. Has live music on some nights. Friendly staff.
