This is a great place to eat when you are in this area in Richmond. We had it recommended to us by the bartender at Black Heath meadery. The food was fantastic, and the service was great. The food was fresh and perfectly cooked. I had the Belgian burger with a. Turkey burger patty and sweet potato fries. I really liked it and wouldn't mind eating it again. I also had a black berry mojito and it was pretty good as well. 10/10 would recommend trying this place when in town.
Yum!!! This place was a great find and nice treat. The burgers are the best I have had in a long time. The sweet potato fries were perfect. However, their shakes are out of this world. The even offer adult boozy shakes. There are so many beers on tap I couldn't keep them straight. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was super chill. Dinning is available inside or on the large covered patios. We travel a lot and this place is one we will seek out when we travel through Richmond, VA again.Definitely give this place a try. There was lots of parking, but the lot was still full! The locals know what is up. ;-)
The chicken fingers were crispy and yummy, they ran out of fried jalapeños but improvised and made fresh jalapeño poppers which were phenomenal with their homemade ranch and jalapeño dressing. We finished it off with some delicious burgers, fries, and a very unique tasting beer chillie that was perfectly joined by a spiked milkshake which for the price was very heavily doused in liquor and my hun had himself a spiked Island breeze. Everytime I take a trip for Richmond I always try to make sure to hit up this place the food definitely never disappoints, the only things that I could be disappointed about maybe when they run out of something because they sell out over the weekends for certain things. Hands down a must try
My gf and had a super chill valentines today. The boozy milkshakes were addicting. The burgers hit the spot with a lot of customizable options and the fry’s get bonus points for being those accordion shapes with spices
For a restaurant that boast "hospitality" I expected better service from the bartender. When I sat down at the bar I waited more than 10 minutes with the bartender walking back and forth by me before I finally had to make an effort to get her attention just to get acknowledged and to get a menu. There were only 6 other dinners at the bar and the place was less than half empty. She was cordial, but not friendly, got the sample of beer I asked for but then took more than 10 minutes to come back to check and see what beer I had settled on. Had to make an effort to get her attention again just to order food. The person who delivered my food was great, noticing I didn't have a napkin dispenser near, brought me one. About halfway through my meal, I wanted to order another beer and attempted several times to get my servers attention. I finally gave up. I'm sorry, if you're gonna work as a bartender, you really need to do better. I ordered a grilled cheese with bacon and got a side of the loaded tots. Both were good, but nothing super special. The beer selection was pretty good for the size of restaurant.
Great menu, fabulous milkshakes and great service! Veggie options are a plus and really delicious! Highly rated for a date night or group of friends.
Wonderful customer service and the food is a classic. It's a Richmond institution and rightfully so. The burgers are solid, great flavors and options. You should definitely try their milkshakes, cannot go wrong with anything on their menu.
Came in during the snow day and couldn’t have been happier with our visit. Outstanding food! The burgers were delicious and creative, the boozy shake was great, and the Thai fried green beans were incredible - try them with the Scott’s sauce. Unreal. Staff was incredibly friendly, fun, and attentive. Would come here time and time again!!
