This review is about their "meatball" sub specifically. The meatballs were thinly sliced I to coins and were dry, they were super stingy with the sauce and the cheese and the bread was too dense and cold. Worst meatball "sub" I've ever had.I got take out so I didn't actually see the sandwich until I was home, but if I'd been in the restaurant I'd have swapped it out for something else.Hopefully their other food is better.
This place is truly a gem and that compliment doesn’t come easy coming from me.. When I think of a “good” food place, quality and taste of food are of course important but value is also very important.. This place gives all that.. I can come here and get all that my little heart desires lol - pizza, wings, desert - all for a very, very reasonable price. They were also kind when I visited which is also a bonus because kindness matters :)
Just ordered 2 pizzas, and told the woman on the phone 4 times which pizza had pineapple and not the other one. She seemed lost and overwhelmed with everything she was doing. Pizza came and they put pineapple on the wrong pizza, husband won't eat the one with pineapples and I really wanted pineapple on mine, called and they said they could only remake 1 pizza. I paid like $40 for 2 pizzas and only end up with one of the pizzas I ordered, that's ridiculous.
Had no issues with the online order or delivery. When the pizza arrived we found our round pizza was cut into squares. Very odd I’ve never eaten a round pizza like that before. The pizza tasted fine it was nothing exceptional. Same with the wings but the blue cheese on the side was awful. It tasted like the cheapest thing I could buy off the shelf.
Sub was inedible. IDK what those were but they weren't MEATballs. Boneless wings also tasted like overly processed & fake (filler) food.
I enjoy eating from this restaurant. They have very good Grinder sandwiches and pizzas.
Excellent service and the food is always plentiful and good. The first responders of Henrico love this place and I know why....good food, great quality, warm service and GREAT PRICE.
Went today for the first time on a recommendation from family, had the triple decker grinder and WOW!!! what a big serving, it literally was enough for 4 people! Delicious and the bread was the best I've had in this area at sandwich shop, the french fries were great also, my wife got a small side salad which was actually pretty large, she also got the small white pizza( just cheese and garlic butter) which she enjoyed( maybe a tad bit too much garlic) overall a great dining experience and I think we have found our new go to spot for pizza and grinders. If I could make one suggestion it would be to give the option to do the loaded nachos as loaded french fries or at least offer cheese fries. A+++
