2-26-22 Location was very busy on a Saturday evening around 6pm. People going in and out the door constantly the whole time we were there. We had the pork dumplings, shrimp fried rice, and Fei-Lone Beef. All 3 were excellent and appeared freshly made. Beef was tender, vegetables cooked just right. We also had a dessert cake, and it too was well executed. We will be back.

Party of 5 and everyone said 10 out of 10. The entrees are so flavorful and perfectly cooked. You pay a premium for the higher quality but everyone left with left overs. This will be a regular spot going forward.

Selected this restaurant based on previous reviews and my whole family and I were sadly disappointed. This was the worst Chinese food that we have ever eaten! There was nothing authentic about the food and it was poorly seasoned. It honestly tasted like a bad homemade fail!!! Would not recommend.

Beijing is a great place for happy hour and dinner. I love the atmosphere and the food is consistently really really good and the staff is wonderful. One of my favorite places in Richmond.

Excellent take on Chinese cuisine. Loved the mapo tofu (the added basil is excellent), curry noodles, and the pineapple fried rice special, which should be a permanent menu inclusion. Highly recommended!

Excellent dinner spot with a vibrant bar scene. We can recommend just about everything. My favorite is the Beijing Duck.

This restaurant used to be sort of higher end asian fusion, mainly chinese, food but the quality has really plummeted the past few times I have ordered, enough that I wanted to make a review. They still seem to use higher quality ingredients in terms of the vegetables or seafood (although scallops in last order had the distinct odor and flavor of ammonia, something staff should know the scent of) etc, however, that doesn't matter much because the dishes have become increasingly oily, with a distinct flavor of burned/dirty oil and less spice in the sauce. Exceedingly oily and less palatable even compared to a cheap fast food chinese. The oil flavor has become so overpowering that the dishes really all taste the same. It's just a shame to ruin the ingredients in this way. I hate to leave a negative review but I do hope that they see this and try to return to the former quality because it has been an apparent slow decline. I imagine they have had to hire kitchen staff that has not learned to cook the sauces properly yet and to empty the oil regularly, I also wonder if the health and safety regulations are being followed correctly. If possible I would still rate them a 2.5 bc the ingredient quality is high but the flavor is very poor.

absolutely loved my meal - pork gyozas, curry noodles and cookie monster ice cream sandwich. the staff were lovely. Free parking right behind the building. Nice and upscale place. The bar looks really appealing - unfortunately I am not drinking age yet - i’ll just have to come visit again!! Only bad-ish things were it was rather loud with stereo music and people talking over it. and very cold from the AC. I still very much enjoyed my time there and would go again :)

Really consistently overall great food and service! Nice laid back ambiance, highly recommend it if you are in the Richmond area! All their food is really good to excellent but stand out dishes include very good smoked duck, crispy eggplant, Moo Shoo Pork, chili dumplings, and the short rib dish but really the whole menu hasn't produced anything that wasn't good to excellent.
