We ordered breakfast everything looked good but nothing was seasoned. Disappointed to say the least. Our waitress was nice and attentive which was a plus.
Unfortunately, I have had two experiences and meals with rotten fruit. First, the side of mixed fruit on June 11 had VISIBLE white mildew. The waiter offered a single flapjack as a replacement. Last week, my job catered from this location again and the strawberries had mold. Beware. That’s all.
Had breakfast there this am. Food was delicious! A little tepid but given the slow service not sure how long it sat in the kitchen. Service was glacial. Place was almost empty as I was there at opening at 11am. Not sure what the problem was. Food a 5. Service a 2
This used be a classy place where you could walk the shops and have a good meal. My last visit greatly disappointed with the quality of food. Additionally, the seats were dirty and had food and a used face mask was jammed down in the crack of the seat. I understand Covid has put a strain on all of us but my food was horrible. I ordered the fish and chips.Needless to say the portion of fish i was served was soggy and the size of a playing card... with a price tag of 18.00I wont be returning anytime soon.Terribly disappointed with my visit.
The food was amazing. My daughter and I went for breakfast. Our server checked on us frequently but had little personality. I'm use to servers being more bubbly and excited when they come greet me but he did give us good service otherwise. My daughter had the chicken and waffles with a side of eggs and turkey bacon. While I had the Jamaican french toast with a side of eggs and turkey bacon.
What an amazing breakfast. The best server. Great food, tasty and offers a wide variety of healthy and gluten free meals. Totally loved the experience.
Haven't been back since the pandemic but can't wait. I don't know if they still have the nightly specials it's a wonderful place to go. We have the mugs, we've had sandwiches brunches dinners and pizza night with other meal options. They used to do a flat iron steak that was perfectly seasoned Oh, No A1 or 57 sauce needed. They used to have a nice crepes, sweet potato cheesecake, sticky buns, and great coffee. It's like an upscale Cafe to meet your friends.
I drove down to Richmond to meet with a friend and selected this restaurant based on the 4 star review. I should have taken the time to read the more recent reviews. First, we arrived and were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. After 15 minutes, I had to walk to the host to ask about our table and express my disappointment. There were plenty of empty tables yet we still had to wait. They immediately found us a table. We waited another 10 minutes for a waiter who was okay, I guess. He checked in on us and put in our orders. The food was okay. The service overall was less than stellar. It just felt poorly mismanaged and the people manning the front desk were quite unprofessional. Wouldn’t recommend this spot.
We walked out. It was empty when we came in and I see why. We waited for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Once the waiter came we went to order drinks I watched him "make" the sangria from a pitcher with hella ice. Then when we went to order they didn't have anyone in the joint who could make pizza. So basically 1/3 of their limited menu was in available. I asked to speak with the manager who was guess what not there. I explained we were not happy with the service and lack of options and we left. I Will NEVER go back here.
Amazing place!! Loved their sandwiches and burgers!! Great portions for the price and courteous staff!!
