Good service and very tasty food!!
Friendly family atmosphere with FANTASTIC food. Highly recommend!
Upscale Mexican restaurant. We were lucky to get seated without a reservation. The food overall was very good as was the service (Ruby was AMAZING). It appeared they may make their chips in house. They definitely make their own tortillas which were amazing. The rice was NOT good. The white rice had no flavor and the Mexican rice had clearly been sitting in the bottom of a pot for a while because it was dry and in chunks. We ordered some Patrón margheritas on the advice of the server and there was hardly any tequila in it. Other than the rice and drinks, everything else was excellent.
We dined with Ahmed yesterday and I wish I could give his service 10 stars! He’s the most friendliest, attentive server and he exudes very positive energy. Food came out perfectly even if I had a complicated order and we also got seated really quickly.I highly recommend this location and Ahmed for anyone looking to try this spot out!
Great ambiance, wonderful food, amazing cocktails and awesome service!
Great fajitas. Quick service. Fresh tortillas. We ordered the chicken fajitas, and loved it so we ordered another one. We also ordered the barbacoa fajitas, and it was good also. This place could be a five if they get rid of the broken furniture or fix them. Going back for the fajitas, and maybe try other entrees on the menu.
I've been coming to this Uncle Julio's location since I was a kid-- it was always a favorite. In recent years it feels like it's gone downhill a bit. Staff are always very polite and attentive, but quality control and portion sizing is a problem every time we eat here nowadays.Paying $25 for an order of chicken & steak fajitas and receiving a third of a chicken breast and a third of a piece of sirloin worth of meat feels like a huge ripoff. On top of that, the steak is almost never the correct temperature. With Bartaco a block away, it gets harder and harder to justify coming here anymore.
Oh my! Where to begin! We are in from Mpls. The entire experience was phenomenal! From greeting to seating to ordering to our delicious food! And our waitress was incredible. Just an awesome evening with our daughter and son in law. Thank you. Great memory!
We tried this restaurant for the first time. We ordered chicken and stake fajitas, shrimp fajitas and pork fajitas. Shrimp was too salty and not good quality. Chicken wasn't cooked well. It had hard bites which felt like wasn't fully cooked. Port wasn't as good I we thought. Rice was under cooked. Stake was the only thing cooked very well. Their salsa and chips are good. This was my experience. Service was good but not the foods. That was disappointing.
Food was decent, the taco salad could have used some more meat. The place just renovated, however, I wish they would have invested is some noise-reducing tiles. It was so loud during our dinner that we had difficulty hearing each other. It gets frustrating and makes you want to leave. Maybe that's the idea to turn tables over quicker, but at the risk of losing repeat business?
