Pineapple fried rice is alright, nice combination, although chicken was dry. Service is pretty bad. Two girls were in front of me at the front desk waiting to be seated. No one bothered to talk to them and they left. Finally someone showed me to the table, I asked for iced water and they never brought it. I finished my normal temperature water and no one bothered to refill or ask me during my 30 mins’ stay. I have to literally try hard to make eye contact until another waitress brought me the check. It’s not even a large room…there are four tables outside, only three were taken and I was one of them. It makes me wonder if they simple don’t care about their customers. While I was waiting, the waiter (who I suspected to be the owner) was working on his laptop and flirting with the other waitress occasionally ?
My fiancé and I decided to visit Tiki Thai for date night. The restaurant is very aesthetically pleasing. We had the calamari to start which I did not like. For entrees, I had the Bang Bang Pad Thai which had a good taste but the noodles were too hard for my liking. My partner had the Chumphon Pad Thai which he enjoyed. I also tried a pink drink (I forget the name)which was not bad but too much ice. & another drink (came with Gin I think) which was good. Overall its a cute spot and opens late. I would try happy hour next time.
The ambience and vibe drew us to this place. Overall I was very impressed by the Tiki theme. Drinks were served in Tiki style mugs as well. Overall food was decent. Shishito peppers were nice (seasoning was flavourful). Phuket Rangoon were delicious with a well balanced flavour of salmon, crab and cream cheese. Other appetizers like Tofu wings and Chicken satay were alright. Pat Pad thai (Chef special fried rice) was disappointing. It was greasy and had a distinct charred flavour. Drinks were a bit pricey. Service was decent.

Delectable Thai food in a fun ambience! The restaurant is a delightful decorated tiki style upscale space. Service was prompt in spite of being busy when I visited. I visited with a big group so I had a chance to try a few cocktails and entrees and food was great, although cocktails were below average. I will recommend the panang curry and pineapple fried rice that were my favorites. Especially appreciated that the server was able to accommodate dietary restriction (even eliminating fish sauce) substituting meats for veggies carefully.
Good food overall** and fast delivery within the 3 miles area. I would have given them a 5 star, but was disappointed with their substitution deception. I ordered to substitute regular rice with fried rice and even paid $5 extra for substitution to a Fried rice. All I got was egg mixed with rice as seen in the pic.The restaurant manager said since its a substitute they only give it with fried egg and not the actual fried rice I would have received if I ordered it as a full plate, since that type is reserved only for the full plate of fried rice. I wonder, why they call it FRIED RICE if they don't want to truly offer one. Don't waste money with their substitution as never know what they plan to provide.
It was a bit overpriced for me. I usually have Thai food at busara and Sakoon Thai but one of my friends recommended this place so I was giving a try. The portion was small especially crab meat fried rice and drunken noodle for the price we paid. The tofu wasn’t fresh in the pad Thai. But the place was cleaned and service was fast, and the waiter kept checking on us.
Jeff and Marcus are the most talented bartenders in Virginia! I recently visited Tiki Thai with an old friend and we loved every second. The food was incredible (lamb chops for the win) and the drinks were to die for. I hope this restaurant knows how lucky they are to have such talented folks behind the bar. Can’t wait to come back!
Wow! This is my first time at Tiki Thai, and I will definitely be a repeat customer. The Thai Tacos are bursting with meat, and if you love pulled pork, check this place out. The wings are amazing and crispy..seasoned just right. The service is fantastic. Trust me you will be happy as a clam when you are there and when you are done.
Service was wonderful here they kept checking to see if we needed anything else. Food was amazing and was seasoned well! The alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks were amazing too! I will definitely visit again.
