Everything was delicious. I love how you can make your own bowl and they have whole grain rice. Will definitely be coming back.
The food was good (I had always gotten it as delivery prior to my visit) but the drink area was so filthy that I decided against even touching anything near it. I almost decided not to eat here at all but I looked at the food prep area and it seemed like they at least focused on keeping this area tidy and clean. Not sure if the lack of cleaning in the customer area is a staffing issue or a one off (again, it's my first visit). Made me think twice about ordering from here again.
Very disappointing. Food is good, thus the 1 star. My wife prefers to order from here instead of another place I suggested. I show up at the time my order was supposed to be ready, and it wasn't. Then I get home and there's no pita bread with the side of hummus we ordered. My wife called and we were told we have to order that separately. I've never been to a Mediterranean place that does that. In addition I went to online ordering to verify this claim, which is challenging and I couldn't find the option for pita. Just disappointing and I'll stick to cava where we don't have these issues. In addition something I forgot to add, there's no contact information other than calling, which I stated solved nothing. The owner commented on the original post asking for more information, but again no real interest in solving the problem since they didn't leave any contact information.
If it wasn’t for one of the Reston Mezeh employees making such a kind gesture on giving me a complimentary order and free delivery, due to my order on grub hub missing nearly all the ingredients I placed for a salad bowl, I wouldn’t give a 5 star. But she was one of the sweetest people I’ve came across after I addressed my complaints, and even gave me additional pita bread, a few packs of baklava pastries and extra pita chips with my delivery on behalf of my previous wrong order. Thank you to the courteous lady, I’m not sure what her name was but phenomenal customer service, she’s young and of Hispanic background. If you ever run into a problem, the staff will take care of you! ?? Also my second bowl delivered was phenomenal
Food was delicious. Drinks were not great. One thing that does make it awkward is the serving utensils they use when prepping your food. They are really small. So it does get awkward when you have to ask for more of something multiple times because you really enjoy that item.
Amazing food. I always get the falafel bowl. Love the choices of dips and toppings they offer. The fresh warm pita on the side pre covid was much better than the one they have now. Love the service here, people are usually very friendly & generous with the portions.
The food was incredible. Beautiful display and wonderful taste. Will definitely be back. Thank you Dani and Patrick for introducing our group!
I have to update the rating based on my past few experience . I have been a regular at this place for over 3 years and have noticed over the past few days that they have significantly reduced the portion. Like literally by half and i have asked them multiple times to put more and yet its another teaspoon kind of gesture (I am talking about rice in a rice bowl, ).This used to be my to go lunch place , not anymore.
For my first bowl experience at Mezah, I had the Chicken Shawarma with roasted veggies and spicy feta. Just enough heat and the mild sweetness of the roasted veggies paired well.
Portions are a joke. When you ask for olives and they use a tea spoon to put litterally 3 black olives, you're just skimping way beyond reason. I think there was 1.5 ounce of meat. You're better off at Cava or Chipotle.
