Brunch with my daughter and 3 grandkids!! First time dining at Maker’s Union…food was fabulous and the service phenomenal!!! I will definitely come back!

Amazing food and presentation. The service was very good. Just a bit noisy for conversations. Will absolutely go again next time I’m in Reston.

I had an issue here one time not long ago, reached out and the managers and workers of Makers Union wanted to fix my experience. I had agreed to return and my dining experience was great. The host Sofia was incredibly sweet, and made conversation easy. Our server (his name slips my mind, but he's very tall and has a dog named georgie) was attentive, easygoing and very easy to converse with. The manager Aly also wanted to check in, as she wanted to make sure our time was better. Overall, the food was great and unique, the people all around were very kind and I think this place is a very nice restaurant and I would recommend it for a nice night out or a simple easy lunch. They handled everything well, even when things weren't amazing they made it better.

We had the all upu can est brunch. It was offered a tad different that what I usually have. The food was good. It was a great time with friends. The book decor was a bonus.

Great flavors and excellent music on Friday night. Would go back here again and recommend for those wanting a fun dining experience.

My server (the african american man) potentially named cameron on my receipt (however it could be another server as I had to wave down another server so I could get my bill and pay it. It took far too long for our server to come and tend to us for drinks, once he got the drink order he attempted to leave before I was done ordering. Our appetizer came and it took over 30 minutes AFTER we finished it for him to come and take our entree order (and no I am not over exaggerating, after 10 minutes I decided to put the stopwatch on to see how long it would take him to stop by). once we ate he never checked up on us, and not until the end did he come and ask about drink refills, of which I asked for more water (as did my two other friends at the table). He came, refilled one glass of water (out of 3) and then ran off to do something else. I eventually had to wave him down again 10 minutes later for the desert menu, he dropped it off and never returned. thus I waved down a separate server to pay my bill because I was getting irritated at this point. I paid on the machine and my receipt didn't print; FINALLY our server returned and I told him I needed a printed receipt to which he said okay one second, and went off to talk to another table (20 more minutes had passed, 2 tables that were sat far after us had eaten and left at this point), and I had to walk over to a server putting in an order for my printed receipt (I am a server at a restaurant and I felt absolutely awful interrupting a server like that as I know how irritating that can be, but I was upset at this point). Eventually a lady, im assuming a manager, came by and my tablemates told her we needed a printed receipt and the server ran off again for too long. She printed it and we left. I am angry with myself somehow for tipping 18% as he deserved far less, I didn't get desert, I didn't get more water, and I didn't even get bare minimum service. I will not be returning nor will my friends. I hope this improves.

Excellent service!!

Quality food. Great for big groups. Love the family meal options. Delicious cocktails. Will definitely return.

Excellent food. Excellent service. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The Happy Hour specials were perfect. We even enjoyed entrees, too! My salmon was cooked perfectly and the creamy mushroom quinoa was amazing! I can’t wait to try other items.
