Delicious. The menu has some really different dishes and I loved what we ordered. The Bistro is a small place with a cupcake bakery attached. We tried the Bahn Mi Benedict and the Lemon Ricotta pancakes. The Benedict was so good and unlike anything I’ve ever had before. The Lemon ricotta pancakes were super moist with a great lemon taste infused in the cakes and topped with blueberries (which I’m not normally a fan of).Everything was presented beautifully. We went back in the evening and got a pizza and that was so good as well.I was only visiting in the area or this place would be a place that I would visit regularly.I highly recommend!
Food was OK. I'd been hearing awesome reviews of this place but was not impressed. They have bottomless mimosas, but you have to wave down to staff to try and get refills. The Latkes were not crispy, whipped cream on the French toast was definitely sitting for a bit as it arrived completely melted and the Mac and cheese had a weird sour flavor to it, which I've never had with Mac and cheese. It was nice to try, but unsure if I would go back againAlso, they brought over a stack of small plates for if we had appetizers and some of the plates in the middle clearly had not been washed
The hyph about this this place is worth the visit. Don't let the size of the pizzas fool you. You will be taking some home. We tried a Detroit Style and Grandma Style. The Motor City Detroit Style was evenly cooked. The crust was tasty with good texture and the meaty toppings were savory and hearty. The sauce complimented the whole taste. The Grandma Style Pepperoni with its flatter style was equally as good. The mixture of cheeses gave the pizza slightly sharp taste. The pepperoni was of good quality not spicy just flavor. We also had the Beast Mac & Cheese. It had good cheese mixture but I beleave the price vs portion could have been better. We were seated right away. The service was very good and the food came out in a reasonable time.We did get some Red Velvet cupcakes to go. There were plenty of choices even though the supply was thinning in the evening.
Service was terribly slow even though the restaurant was barely half full. I ordered the country ham biscuits which were heavily buttered biscuits with Oscar Meyer ham on them. The strawberries were squishy and would have been tossed in my own home. Hope today was just a bad day.
Delicious brunch in a beautiful setting. All of my friends really enjoyed their meals as well and they said that the coffee was amazing ☕ I had the eggs benedict ?
The deliciousness of the Motor City pizza will haunt my dreams until I get back there to have it again! I also really want to try their Primanti Brothers sandwich to see how it stacks up against its Pennsylvania namesake.
We were hearing all the rave reviews of the pizza, so decided to try it for take out - and to find out what Detroit Style pizza is. I guess it's using too much cheese and then putting too much sauce on top. Haha It was tasty, but there really was way too much cheese (and I love cheese!)!!! The sauce was good, but I would have liked it a little lighter. The crust, though, was perfect!!!!! We'll definitely get it again, but just ask them to go light on the cheese and sauce.
Got the Detroit Style cheese pizza. Hubby got the po' boy. He thought the sandwich was pretty good. My pizza was pretty good, too. Focaccia pizza crust was fluffy yet crispy amd therefore quite a delightful texture.
Wow!!! I think this might be the best pizza I have ever had! I usually order thin crust from other places but I’m floored at how good the dough is. The Detroit style pizza is crazy good!! The staff are super friendly and I would recommend to anyone. Thank you for the awesome food!!!!
We’ve been here three times in about a month and it’s our favorite pizza around. It’s certainly a much different style (Detroit) pizza than others you will find but it is awesome. My favorite is tje Motor City and then I add ricotta! The slices are surprisingly filling. Two people can share a pizza unless you are very hungry. I doubt many people eat a whole pizza (4 slices) themselves. The leftovers reheat great in the oven. Each time we have gone we have been seated immediately and the food has come out quickly. The staff has also all been very friendly. Give this place a shot. I really hope this place sticks around. It isn’t that large and I think if more people tried it they might run out of space and need to expand.
