My family’s favorite place to be! Indoor, outdoor, walks, dates, lake Anne is perfect for every event

this was a great place to grow up a lot has changed.

It’s like a tiny slice of Europe! Simply beautiful architecture and views. Come see it for yourself!

Good food but HORRIBLE service. If a server says “I will be right there”, it means” at least 15 minutes”. Never got a server to take order will outside, had to go inside to order. Then the expect tip. Also had to clean our table first, go find silverware which was dirty, then had to go inside to pump our coffee

We had dinner outside. We had excellent service and the food was spectacular. I loved the mussels with Dijon, the summer veg risotto with shrimp, and the incredible chocolate bread pudding. 1/2 price wine bottle allowed us to try an amazing Napa wine. Happy Hour chicken wings and hanger steak with shiitake were delicious. Save room for creme brûlée’s. We were so impressed with the ambiance and food we can’t wait to go back. I must give a shout out to our fantastic waiter Meg. She was friendly and extremely punctual.

This little best-kept-secret of Lake Anne is less than a mile from my home. I came here on a recommendation from a friend who has visited for coffee/breakfast on more than one occasion and recommended I try for dinner. My first visit was in January of 2019. The outdoor seating is comfortable and much sought after - with 8-9 tables, one small straight bar-like table (about six stools), and one sectional-couch seating location. Inside on the first floor are five tables and a little arm chair reading area. Now, the upstairs! Like a second floor "speak easy". A small four-stool bar, 8-10 stool community high-boy, bar seating along the front window, one or two arm chair relaxed seating coffee tables, and 8-9 2/4 top tables. And, many nights of the week, there is live music... Food - the best ingredients, meticulous preparation, and wonderfully presented. The chefs are highly skilled, imaginative, and show pride in their craft. Wine - a carefully selected and surprisingly full selection. On specific weeknights, it's half price bottle... Check the website. Regardless of price, I've always beens very pleased with the wine selection. Beer by the bottle, yet a respectable selection of craft brews. Staff - my extended family. I feel at home here. They seem to know when I want service and when I need to get some work done - yes, I work online here at least one night a week. A 5-star location and incredible value for our little community.

A group of 10 of us stopped in here for a delicious lunch on a gorgeous afternoon. We sat outside where there was plenty of room. The Cuban panini was popular with a number of the guys and a special salad with strawberries was popular with a number of the ladies. A breakfast salad was also a hit The service was good and a pitcher of mimosas went between the group. There were also a number of specialty teas ordered and they were very good.

Very pleasant, European-feel-ish restaurant. Even if _ maybe _ originally meant to be a "mom's prayers answered" and combining a gourmet coffee shop with a wine bar, it is now a real diner's delight. Small menu, but enough choices and seems focused on food prep. The dishes we ordered, and tasted off each other's plates were excellent. We qill go back to try more. Service may be spotty, depending on how busy the place gets, but very pleasant regardless. No kids menu, but a grilled cheese can be oedered. My 7yo "foodie" opted for a regular menu salmon with risotto and green beans, and LOVED it. Bathrooms may need some upgrading work to bring it up to par with food.
