We have been seating and waiting for our order to get to our table for over 2 hours ,we had to ask and walk inside at least three times , and finally we got our appetizer and tiramisu we ordered after 2 hours and still waiting for two cappuccinos . When we came , it was 5:30 pm and it’s 8:20 now and the waiter very obviously told me that he is not sure how long would it take to get the drinks ready ?? … the food is ok , can be better though , nice place which they need to thank Lake Ann management for that , but horrible service and even worst hot drink . The cappuccinos were like powdered that they make in water , and the waiter just hold two cups and served them without any plate and and even he spilled some on the table too. horrible service and serving and staff …. It’s really a shame and now I looked at other reviews and I don’t know how this place still stays in business … when I went inside for the last time at 8:15 to ask what’s going on with just two cappuccinos that took over two hours to be served , I saw the waiter was chatting and laughing with two women at the bar and he even did not like me when I very politely made my complaint about our waiting time and etc … there was another girl who kept saying that they are short staff but she was chatting with tow other men for good 10-15 min talking about one of them who wants to move to Reston and etc … well I know this place is a sport bar and people get drunk and want to talk to others but seriously the staff should not get along ! That’s a shame !
Very poor customer service. Our waiter disappeared after our food was provided. Checked in once at the very beginning. We then waited about 30 minutes before having to ask the hostess for our check. She brought it over to our table and had a bad attitude as well. I don’t think we’ll be coming back any time soon which is unfortunate as we had a great experience last year here.
My husband and I stopped in for lunch and drinks after a walk around the lake. We were seated outside and waited for someone to take our orders. The hostess (who seemed to be the only one working) asked us if anyone had come by after 15 minutes. When we said no, she took our order for an appetizer and said someone would come by for our entree and drink orders soon. We waited and waited. The hostess came by again and asked if anyone had taken our order. When we said "no" she said she would tell someone to come out. Another 20 minutes goes by and the hostess comes out with our appetizer. At this point no one has come over to get our drink or entree order. I watched the people to the left get served and the people to the right get served. It seemed that we were utterly invisible to the wait staff. After an hour of waiting, my husband had to go into the restaurant to request a box for the apps and the check (at that point we were so disgusted we just wanted to go). This whole experience was extremely insulting. We will never go back. If you would like to get food and drinks at this place you may or you may not. Seems like the luck of the draw.
Pizza was cold and not very tasty. I cannot give it more than 2 out of 5. Salmon rigatoni with pesto sauce was better but super greasy. Beers and wine were good. Service was suuuuuper slow. They only had one person working there. We had to wait a lot for ordering, our foods to come and for check. Overall we thought two out of five would be fair, but I give them three for the vibe and view.
It’s a nice place has a European feel to it. Food is delicious. Outside is patio on the lake view. Perfect for summer nights out
Went for Thursday night Trivia and had a great time. Wait staff were all very nice though a little overwhelmed. The chicken tenders weren't great, but I don't think that's representative of their full menu. Patio looks fantastic for nice weather.
Love this place…beautiful sitting outside and taking in the views of Lake Anne.
