This is such a fantastic restaurant. Fun, interesting environment and a good staff.The food is exceptional! I highly recommend starting with the deviled eggs. I don't generally like then, bit the flavor profile on these blew my mind.The Drunken Ribeye is one of the best steaks I've had. It has a bold, dark flavor so if you prefer the pure flavor of straight beef, I'd recommend the Steak Frites instead.This was such a great experience that we returned fir a second meal during our trip.
I have always enjoyed Jackson's in Reston Town Center when I visit the DC area. I have never had a bad meal or bad service. In fact, since the paid parking started at RTC the only business I have frequented is Jackson's. However, the price increases have finally caused me to stop going to this fine restaurant. A very simple lunch for two people now costs $75, a huge increase. It has simply become too expensive.
We've visited Jackson's on several previous occasions, and enjoyed both the service and dining. This evening we were a party of eleven, and were split across two tables on different sides of the restaurant. My table consisted of five of the group. We ordered the tuna roll and calamari to start with, and were so impressed with the tuna that we ordered a second plate; this may have been the catalyst for what followed. One of the waiters advised that there was no lobster left, which would cause a delay to one of the entrees ordered. We asked if the steaks that three of the other four diners had ordered were ready, and were advised that they were. We agreed that they could be served in advance of the delayed lobster. All of the steaks and sides were served cold. We returned them all and they were re-served in the same condition. The waitress was excellent in placating our disappointment and advised that we would have a bottle of wine and two of the entrees discounted from our bill. One of the guests on the other table picked up the bill, and after discussion later in the evening, unbeknown to us, nothing had been discounted from the bill. Extremely disappointing, and we will think twice about returning.
Loved the ambience. We had the Grilled Chicken & Havarti Cheese and Veggie Burger Wrap, both were good. Loved their inhouse beer. Service was great, we asked to bring the fries (side with the sandwiches) with the beers and they happily did so.

A Valentine's Day tradition for our family! As a part of the Great American Restaurants chain, we like the variety and dishes that Jackson's pulls from different locations,plus their own spin. The service is outstanding and the wait staff are all well versed in the menu and specials. I need to remember to keep this restaurant in my rotation for when I am asked to pick a place for a group to eat. With a diverse menu and central location, this is a clear winner.
Excellent classic American Bar restaurant. Cool ambiance and great food. Servers are nice and friendly. Bar area is the busiest area. Make sure to have your ticket validated to avoid fee.
