Terribly rushed experience. Received entries as we received our appetizer. Food not vey hot and expensive for what we got
Normally a a very good experience. We had a very inexperienced server and had multiple issues. Normal time frame for a business lunch dragged dragged out considerably as a result of server and payment processing issues. Manager was responsive to concerns and "comped" our meal, which was an impressive response.
The food was fantastic (as always, 5th time)! Our server and the runner were super nice. Every server seemed to have a shadow and they may have been new but the other server was never introduced so that was a wee bit odd but did not affect the wonderful meal in any way. The bacon lollis, deviled eggs, grilled cheese and tomato soup, steak, chicken, bread, wine, and muffins were so incredibly delicious. The restaurant did get a bit hot for us towards the end around 6:30. Took blueberry muffins to go and they were still perfect at breakfast this morning!
Britney was fantastic. I thoroughly enjoy her attention to detail and outstanding service
Lovely evening, great service, great food!
The food was fine. Service has gone downhill a bit. But what got us is a ridiculous surcharge. Come on! Be honest and price your menu items correctly and stop hiding stupid charges. No better way to ruin an otherwise OK meal.
My wife and I wanted to try something new for date night. Blair was an amazing server. She took great care of us. The food was beyond our expectations.
My wife and I have dined at Founding Farmers in Tyson's corner a handful of times. This was our first venture out to the Reston location, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The ambiance at this location was on par with Founding Farmer's theme of being down to earth. The restaurant was full of dark and rich earthy colors. Our server was extremely kind and warmhearted. We had a slight issue where we told the server my wife was dairy intolerant, and then the server was unaware that the deviled eggs (combo) had parmesan cheese on them. Luckily, my wife only ate one and quickly chewed up a dairy tolerance tablet, and we were good to go for the rest of the night. Both the server and the manager (which we did not call, came by on his own accord) were extremely apologetic towards the situation. Genuine kindness and care went into the rest of our meal to ensure our experience was great. Despite the slip-up, the service was still great, and I would dine here again for the service and attentiveness of the staff. The food is *always* the highlight of the meal at Founding Farmers, and the Reston location did not disappoint. Fresh, cooked well, and plated with intention, our meals were fantastic. I highly recommend their Mid-Atlantic Seared Scallops!
This was our first visit to the Reston location. Went because we wanted outdoor seating. Was sat at the only table without an umbrella or shade. When we initially asked to be moved, the guy seating us said he couldnât. So went back inside to request another table and was accommodated. Our server Emily was wonderful. The food was okay and not the usual quality weâve had at previous experiences at Founding Farmers brunch. Not certain I would go back to that location for brunch again. But glad I took the opportunity to see the new location. Itâs great that itâs right off the subway station. Just not the experience Iâd hoped for.
Eaten here a few times. This was the best by far.
