The food here is absolutely delicious! The price, too high. I respectfully believe that you guys would benefit from improving your prices since you have so many competitors and the pandemic isn't doing anyone any favors. But again, the food, sauces, spices, gracious quantities and quality are great! The cooks/staff prepare your meal at the time of order which is a great sign because you know they aren't simply reheating food that's just been sitting out waiting to be purchased and the chicken tastes fresh. So while there is a wait, the wait is 100% worth it. I can't afford to come here often, sincerely, but I definitely did like everything I ordered; Golden Original, Gang-Jeong and Honey Garlic Wings, Kimchi Rice and a side of fries.
I came with a couple of my friends to dine-in. The Galbi Wings were really good, along with the dumplings, and the prices are fair. The owner is very kind, and gave us some tenders on the house. Overall it was a great tranquil Friday night experience and I would come again to try the other flavors.
Just tried this new spot, to me at least, and flavor was wonderful and quality of the chicken was actually very good. My only concern was that, isn’t this a “fried” chicken place? My chicken wasn’t fried and the skin was chewy on the outside. I had the boneless wings and not sure if they don’t do those fried? I mean, I’d think so for a “Korean fried chicken”. Maybe I’m wrong? Sauce and chicken quality was very good though, a lot of flavor.
Is it pricey? Yes. Is it delicious? YES. I personally love the wings here, so clean and well battered. My partner says the sauces are too sweet, but I love them. The wings are huge and always perfect. I would not recommend going here to dine-in, the wait can be long (I truly do believe they are made to order) but take out and delivery is has also been good!
One star for that grumpy and sad front lady! Four stars for the chicken wings, specially the Golden regular one. We don’t like the other too saucy ones. Too messy and you couldn’t taste the chicken anymore. But oh man, that grumpy lady on the phone and when I picked up my food can ruin the company’s reputation. Where are the happy friendly ones before?
While pricey, the chicken here is scrumptious. The Golden Original flavor is the closest analog to traditional American fried chicken, but even that has its differences. Korean fried chicken tends to have a lighter, crispier quality and there's a subtle heat that lingers on your tongue. While interesting and good in its own way, Golden Original flavor remains a clear attempt at emulation. In my option bb.q didn't come into its own until I tried the Gangjeong. The Gangjeong flavor is not only a great mix of sweet and spicy, but for those uninitiated to Korean BBQ it will open you up to a new realm of what you may have considered possible in fried chicken. Maybe I'm overselling it a little, but this is great chicken nonetheless. I'm not a kimchi fan, but my Dad ordered the kimchi rice and reported back that it was delicious.All in all, I recommend bb.q Chicken. Go check it out sometime.
There are few issues, my opinion of course,1. Too much salt and fat for a chicken meal.2. High price in comparison with other competitors, (considering the porttion and quality )3. Too much garlic,l should confess that i am not a garlic lover at all, so i did not buy any of their garlicish chicken from their menu;But still there are too much garlic in their foods, so depending on where you are working and what is you type of work, you may consider this before buying from here.I personally just had 2 pieces for my lunch, and because of high taste of garlic, I threw away the rest without touching them.
Ordered delivery through Uber Eats, I had the Original Golden Chicken & the Gangnam Style wings. The fried chicken was delicious! There's so many flavor choices to pick from as well. It entices you to come back to try other flavors, which I will for sure end up doing!Definitely a good option for Korean Fried Chicken in the area.
This place is magnificently delicious. I’ve tried every part of the menu and none of them disappointed me. Honestly, out of all the chicken places around Reston, this place is top tier. The chicken here is very high quality, the batter and oil is clean, and they do not make you sick. Highly recommend this place! Thanks a lot for the good food!
We ordered delivery from them through Door dash. It took over an hour and they just cancelled the order. Will never order from here again. We like to receive the food we order!
