I am very busy and often have Starbucks delivered to me. Lately it has been from this location. I always order a mocha, but it keeps getting made as a white mocha. I personally think white mocha is gross, and delivery is too expensive to have to keep giving my drinks away and reordering. Still love you guys, just please read the labels. ?
I come to this Starbucks drive thru just about every night on my way to work. Brandon is always so peppy and in a great mood, he’s a fabulous hype man for my night shift ahead of me. Definitely the highlight of my pre-work routine when he’s working!!!
The coffee wasn't as hot as it should have been. My wife liked her mocha, though. She said it was plenty hot.
Last few times I've been there the oatmeal wasn't heated up and I didn't get a spoon. How do you eat oatmeal without a spoon. Very disappointed ?
Love the food and staff! However, I order the same coffee drink each time and it's made different each time. Also, I'm constantly waiting in drive through (even with only 2-3 cars in front of you, expect to wait at least 10 minutes).
I could immediately tell by looking at it that my drink was wrong. I mentioned it to the lady at the window & she wasn’t happy. So I took the drink, tasted it. And just like I said it wasn’t right. So I went back through the drive through. The lady, again, was not happy & not at all friendly. It was missing chai. Her solution was to hand me a cup of chai & told me to add it to the drink myself. I never even knew that was a thing at Starbucks. I wouldn’t have been nearly as annoyed if the lady was the least bit customer friendly.
The old town Portsmouth Starbucks is the worse location around in the 757. Drive through lines extend to Effingham Street, creating dangerous traffic patterns. They are rarely in stock with popular items such as the protein boxes and almost always are out of supplies such as stoppers. Avoid at all costs if you want a comfortable, well stocked and quick visit to Starbucks.
Order ahead always unavailable at the busiest times, they’ve started closing the lobby so drive thru is the only option. The drive thru line goes to the street with no movement. Don’t even try getting out the drive thru line, you’ll be blocked in both ways. How inconvenient and annoying.
I have been usually going to the store in Norfolk , but for the last couple of days , I have been over in Portsmouth and I can't really tell the difference from the quality of the food and coffee , the customer service is about the same as the one in Norfolk.
Great coffee. I just got disappointed it’s always out of peppermint for mocha
